The nice shell over the fingers is a nice touch. The trapper, its a beaut. Can't feel anything, however, like I mentioned before, it took a while to get used to, but now I'm starting to be able to catch the pucks haha Quote:

I really enjoy the overhand protection of the glove. I'd had sticks, skates, etc mash into it and don't ever really feel too much. If it were my P4 my fingers would've been broken already. The new G2 gear really instills confidence in my play (scramble, unorthodox, tim thomas style) and helps me make those big saves I used to hesitate on. As for catching those pucks...just stick your hand open. The glove will do the rest.
You're right. The finger protection on the blocker is fantastic. I've taken sticks and pucks there to very little issues. Light. Predictable rebounds.
Same with the pads. The balance given from how it positions the legs are superb. My knees and hips actually hurt less and are MUCH less sore after games! Have you tried the strapping methods on the pads yet? Or take the shin pad out?

I havent tried any other methods with the pads. Love them the way they came. No point in messing with them.

When you take out the shin pads, the pad becomes much closer to your leg and you can get it much tighter against it. In terms of the knee strapping, I've tried both and both are very comfortable. That knee flap doesn't interfere with the knee guards at all. Other things you can do is shift the D loops for the active response straps to the OUTSIDE of the calf wrap for easier access, and I've also taken the calf straps and detached them from the calf landing - makes a big difference when sealing the pads to the ice for a save.
I've moved my blocker palm up about 1/2 an inch and I find that it gives me a bit tighter grip on the stick while playing the puck. THe glove I left hugely alone, except keeping the pro palm in it at all times.

The CCM RBZ is my favourite stick, and I snagged it for $100 with my team assists at Sport Chek. $169.99 on sale, 25% extra off, and 20% more off with team assist coupon.
Sport Chek has a lot of sticks from last season on sale - Warriors, Easton Mako 2's and RSII, etc.
