Dam never used the gabby curve. Been used to Kovalev (Drury) or Backstrom (hall). Quite radical differences but for some reason I don't really prefer one or the other. My slappers are better with the kovalev but wristers and puck control is better with the backstrom.

Damn Darth what a steal!

I would love some AX1 elbows for that price :(

I tried to order a few pro stock sticks from HM, but they kept giving me that "not available" garbage so I gave up. Sucks because I need some new twigs

Tim Budong 08-13-2014 07:40 AM

I needed new elbows shoulders and shins

2/3 ain't bad. I figured its time to replace smelly 10+ year gear.

I wanted those ccm rbz elbows. So damn light. But this will do. Haha

Ended up picking up the Nexus 1000 with the sale at Sport Chek that started yesterday, $139 - 20% off Team Assist.

Waaaay too much stick for my skill level, but will see how it goes :alonehappy:

UFO 08-13-2014 07:04 PM

I got an ax1 stick, ax2 stick, ax1 blade, and swagger goalie stick for $125us. Thank you warrior

Tim Budong 08-13-2014 10:07 PM

I figured a SR Medium fits better than INT XL...

too bad for me..

Did you get the $20 rebate gift card towards your next purchase for making a purchase over 100 with the TA coupon?

What did you get in a M? I thought your elbows were a S.

If you're selling your elbows and you did indeed get a S, I wouldn't mind picking them up from you :)

Tim Budong 08-14-2014 08:03 PM

i should rephrase lol
the elbows are S and they fit

the shoulders are a bit snug, i went to try the adult M which is a bit bigger

oh well

Kilinim 08-14-2014 08:52 PM

FWIW, the fine print said you couldn't combine it with any other offer, including TA coupons.

RevYouUp 08-15-2014 05:35 PM

oh dang, thanks though!

BallPeenHammer2 08-18-2014 03:26 PM

Hockeymonkey has a sale on right now - 30-50% off all clearance items.

JUMP ON IT!

Frenchie 08-18-2014 11:01 PM

Am I the only one who doesn't see the discounted price in my shopping cart (like it says on their website)?

"Some limitations may apply".

I'm also seeing such limitations. I need some new shafts, but HM's website lately during sales has been a big joke.

Edit: Oh I get it. Things are marked on the site. Only some of the top-tier sticks appear to be on sale (20k most notably). Great deal on some T90s, but I'll pass.

Reg totalone has a broken blade and will only be good for a 2pc. It is a 102flex p88. The limited edition one is a pm9 87flex

RevYouUp 08-29-2014 08:01 AM

Where did u get the nexus 1000? I didn't see any at the Richmond sportschek

I just had the guy at the first sportchek tell me which stores had some left and went to buy all of them. There were a few 102 flex left but I took all the right 87flex non grips. There was one 87flex pm9 left in coquitlam and decided not to take it because the store was closed 15mins ago and there was a huge lineup. I picked up 5 just from there. The nexus 1000 deal is over anyways.

rsx10 08-29-2014 10:58 PM

Was the sale just for the Nexus 1000? Was the total one or apx included?
