I'm looking around for Total One senior stick in L/H 102 flex and a P92 curve. I bought a couple in P14 but the curve is too much for me. LMK if anyone has a lead for a good deal on these.

Heard from a trustworthy source - since they are low on the Easton se16 sticks that they are advertising, the Richmond Centre Sport Chek/Hockey Experts are selling the current Vapor X7.0 stick for $129.99 (reg $259.99)!

This is a ridiculous deal because it is apparently below their cost. For those of you who were big fans of the x:60 model, the 7.0 is along the lines the same stick.

Buy Pro Stock: Bauer Total One Kindl LH | Pro Stock Hockey Gear

I never break sticks within the warranty period anyway. When you buy a retail stick at regular price you are essentially paying for two sticks.

Does anyone have the Bauer Nexus stick yet? How do you like it? I'm down to one APX now and was curious about getting one.

As long as after the coupon discount you are still above the $100.00 mark you are entitled to a $20.00 promotional gc. ($250.00+ gives you $50.00 gc)

are high end sticks lighter? Better material? Better technology? compared to lower end ones and why wouldnt someone want to use a "cheaper" stick? Does a cheaper stick really hinder performance? I'm trying to figure out which stick to buy

Higher end sticks are more responsive, lighter, better balanced, etc. The only reasons someone would want to use a lower end stick is price and to an extent, durability.

Choosing a stick really depends on what your budget is. Anything below $100 most likely is going to be shit.

It depends on how much you're willing to spend and what you look for in a stick. Some guys like something with a quick release (wrist/snap shots) and others want a stick that will load more (slap shots).

If you're asking about retail patterns the Sherwood Coffey will be the biggest available. Personally I use the P92 (which is still a pretty big curve but not to the same extent as the Coffey), other brands will have a similar pattern: Easton/Hall, Warrior/Draper.

apparently the new one.9 will be the closest thing to the one95 yet..

http://www.hockeyworldblog.com/2012/...-hockey-stick/

if that's the case, i wonder how the one.9 differs from the one100 which was supposed to be the 'successor' to the one95?

Sounds like the main difference is one piece whereas the one100 was a fused two piece.

And just little things like the thicker throat of the blade and the new resin used in the APX and Nexus1000. Everything else sounds the same as the one95.

Do Base shafts use taper or standard ? Love my Base black OPS but I don't like the blade and I want to switch back to 2 piece.

Base is tapered AFAIK. If you really don't like the blade you can try pulling it out, it's just a fused two piece.
