turns our there were a bunch of kids with baseball bats and pepper spray fighting in the park next to it

what the fuck is wrong with kids, when i was 12 i was skateboarding and drinking too much blue jolt

We fought when I was in elementary school in the 80's but it was never with weapons and it would always be 1 on 1. I can specifically remember 2 fights I got in, after the fights were over that was the end of it. The injuries typically were nothing more then a black eye, bloody lip and some torn clothes. I do remember one kid getting his earing ripped out and by ripped out I mean tore his ear and stomped on, he came to school the next day with a shoe print still on his forehead but that was the worst I can remember when I lived in Sask.

Ya that cop should have went up to the guy on the bike and say "You better not knife those 2 guys walking."

Is that what you wanted the cop to do?

Please tell us the downtown east side story. I hope it's as good as your Whalley one.

3 shootings in surrey

Quote:

Surrey RCMP is concerned about three targeted shootings over 19 hours that left two people injured.

Sgt. Dale Carr said Surrey’s General Investigation Unit and Serious Crime Section are “actively involved in gathering evidence” connected to all three shootings.
“All of the shootings are thought at this time to be targeted and linked to one another,” Carr said in a news release.

He said “this type of activity is deeply concerning to the Surrey RCMP and the community.”
“We are urging anyone with information regarding these shootings to come forward, it is imperative that you do, before someone else is seriously injured or killed,” Carr said.

Police learned of the first incident on March 10 at about 4 a.m. when a man suffering from gunshot injuries was dropped off at the hospital.
“At that time police were unable to identify the origin of where the 20-yr-old Surrey man had obtained the injuries. The man was treated and released from hospital,” Carr said.

Later Tuesday at about 5:50 pm, police located an abandoned vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a shooting, Carr said.
“Police seized the vehicle taking into consideration that the vehicle may be linked to the earlier shooting.”

About an hour later at 6:45 pm, Surrey RCMP was advised by British Columbia Ambulance Service that they were on route to a shooting with a male victim in the area of 127th Street and 78 Avenue.
A 20-year-old Surrey man was transported to hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. He has since been treated and released.

Then at 11 pm Tuesday, Surrey RCMP received several reports of gunshots heard in the area of 128 Street and 76 Avenue.
“Police immediately attended the area it was apparent that all parties had departed. Police were told by witnesses that four dark-colorer vehicles were seen departing the area at a high rate of speed
immediately after the sounds of gunshots. Police were able to recover some evidence from this final location,” Carr said.
Officers are in the areas where the shootings took place, speaking to neighbours and looking to obtain video, Carr said.
And he said Surrey’s Gang Enforcement Team “is being brought into the fold to determine whether this has any
ties to gang activity.”

You know, I always find it somewhat ironic that if the average everyman (or woman) had a decent knowledge of cars, maybe a lot of these "mystery" shootings would be solved much quicker.

Instead of "Acura-type vehicle", or "white SUV".... imagine of police had the information of "Third generation Acura TL!", or "white mid-2000s Cadillac Escalade". Personally I'd think police would have things narrowed down a large amount.

And yes I picked those cars specifically because they are the choice vehicles of a select... type... of person, typically.
