I think that's what happened to the bacon bro in the cayenne in kelowna when that happened

that would make sense, you can get sks in bulk would be way more economical that illegal pistols. realistically though i dont think theyre out to kill each other just intimidate. otherwise they wouldnt shoot at cars, theyd follow you till you got out and get you up close.

Surrey taking a turn for the worse. This scenario is one of those where you wish you had united states self-defense laws and a gun.

from what i read they could only see it as a random shooting :fulloffuck:

maybe it was the same guys that shot at a random car and its occupants a few days ago (unknown bystanders that cooperated with police and called 911)

more and more regular (innocent) joes getting shot at it seems but those incidents aren't getting enough attention imo

GLOW 07-14-2015 06:37 AM

well last 2 days headlines in the paper front page were the cobbs shooting and the realtor that got killed in surrey for trying to top a buy breaking in to his house. alleged killer had a long criminal history apparently.

jesus that's brutal.
i've always wondered what are our laws regarding dealing with break-in intruders?

cus if someone were to break into my place with my family inside, my first instinct would be to take em out at all costs.

you can use as much force as necessary to prevent someone from unlawfully entering your home. in this case im sure he would have been justified in shooting the guy... but youd get charged with unsafe storage if you had a loaded gun laying around.

that said i dont think were at the point yet in surrey where you need to sleep with a loaded gun under your pillow

Man shot to death in Burnaby - NEWS 1130

Update:

Quote:

Police say they don’t believe the shooting was random.

Vancouver’s mayor has issued an email statement that falls short of a direct connection with the shooting in Burnaby.

Gregor Robertson says Vancouver Police and additional security have been and continue to be deployed as appropriate at various city sites.

He says city workers have been asked to carry on business as usual unless otherwise directed by their supervisors.

The VPD confirms it’s looking into a direct threat against a worker

Here is the mayors full statement.

Statement from Mayor Gregor Robertson
The City of Vancouver has experienced a serious incident today. Additional details are not yet available at this time as this matter is under investigation by the RCMP.

This kind of incident is very challenging for the thousands of hardworking staff who come to work every day to make Vancouver a better place, and their safety and well-being is my utmost concern.

As such, in an abundance of caution, VPD members and additional security have been and continue to be deployed as appropriate at various City sites. Employees have been asked to carry on business as usual unless otherwise directed by their supervisors.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

– Mayor Gregor Robertson

Another random shooting from last night...

Burnaby RCMP are investigating after a gun was fired at a car early Wednesday morning.

It happened at a townhouse complex on Tretheway Drive just after 1 a.m.

Sgt. Jeff Ausmus said three people were in the car at the time, but none of them was hit.

The shooter fled in a vehicle before anyone could get a look at the licence plate.

Ausmus said neither the car that was shot at nor its occupants have any apparent ties to gang activity. He said, at this time, it appears to be a random shooting.

An RCMP K-9 unit was on scene searching the area, but no suspect was found.

The car, a grey sedan, was towed from the scene as evidence.

wasn't there a Hells Angels associate working for sanitation?

Culverin 07-16-2015 02:27 PM

I reaallly don't get how many shootings to death ratio.

If you can track somebody down in public.
You probably already know where they live.
They can't be guarded 24/7.
It's not like there are cameras outside their homes.

Even the 10 yr old CoD kiddies who fucked my mom last night know how to camp.

Emergency services take a relative "forever" to arrive compared to being able to empty a mag, approach to point blank and finish the job.

This thread would probably be a lot shorter if the wanna be punks stop doing drive-bys and public shootings.

Then I saw your posted time. Yep, surrey is living up to its' name.
