I found it really odd his son was giving an interview hours after his Dad was gunned down. He didn't even look visually upset.

His family announced his death right away. It seemed kind of strange to me because the police had not named the victim.

The car that got burned down was a Honda CRV.

The NRA just got their poster boy story about why America needs more guns. FailFish

Manic! 07-18-2022 10:49 AM

He has still able to kill 3.

underscore 07-18-2022 11:15 AM

They'll ignore this part of course:

And having more than one armed person at the scene who is not a member of law enforcement can create confusion and carry dire risks, the report found. For example, an armed bystander who shot and killed an attacker in 2021 in Arvada, Colorado, was himself shot and killed by the police who mistook him for the gunman, the Times reported.

Shooting in Whistler. 2 dead. Looks like one guy is named maninder dhaliwal. Photos and video of the dead on social media. Police looking for the shooter. Looks like Whistler is in lockdown.

Now prepare for media over use of the word "brazen"

Manic! 07-24-2022 05:22 PM

A burned out car has been found and 2 males have been arrested in Squamish.

whitev70r 07-24-2022 07:05 PM

They can kill each other all they want ... not really harming society, in fact, doing us all a favour.

Just make sure no innocent bystander gets injured or kill by a stray bullet.

punkwax 07-24-2022 07:12 PM

^well that’s the thing. They probably aren’t the best shots and they’re firing away in busy public areas.

According to some RS members if we arm everyone then we can shoot back and we'll all be safer.

PeanutButter 07-24-2022 10:39 PM

There have been quite a number of targeted shootings in BC, but they always seem to hit only their targets, is this the case?

The only time I remember bystanders getting killed was in that apartment building where the maintenance guy was in the wrong place and he was taken and killed.

68style 07-24-2022 10:43 PM

Some collateral damage occurred in the Kelowna (?) Bacon Brothers shooting... they were hardly "innocent" though like the daughter of the main target or whatever... I think she ended up paralyzed.

I think someone other than the target got shot at the Cactus Club shooting at Market Crossing?

Apparently the 2nd victim today was not involved in any gang activity.

Manic! 07-24-2022 11:02 PM

A number of wrong people have been killed. A couple of mistaken identities and this: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...dway-1.4488247

Kevin Whiteside, 23, believed to be intended target, has also died

It's being said that one of those shot dead in whistler was not a gangster, he was just up there celebrating his birthday and got caught in the murder of the other guy

Emergency Alert System was used this morning regarding multiple shootings in Langley

Quote:

Posted Jul 25, 2022, 6:28AM PDT.

People are told to stay out of Langley City’s downtown core, with police saying there are “multiple shooting scenes.” One of these scenes is in the area of 200 Street and the Langley Bypass in Langley Township.

A suspect is described as a white man with dark hair, wearing brown Carhart coveralls and a blue and green camoflauge t-shirt with a red logo on the right sleeve. A white car is believed to be involved.

More to come
