i think they're quite relaxed, twitch was originally meant for gaming IIRC, now it's got hot tubs etc it seems like diet OF surprising what's allowed on there.

Surrey throat slashing in early April. Stabbing at NW Skytrain station (involving teens) on Monday. Another Surrey bus stabbing last night (Tues), resulting in a dead 17 year old.

It's every major city now. Calgary, edmonton, Toronto.
Now the idea is in peoples heads. People can play the "tough on crime" angle as a fix, but that won't prevent it because these people are ready to die, they just want to bring the world down with them.

Canada is in as bad shape as it’s ever been, and it doesn’t scale everywhere.
We have friends from Australia who came back here recently, the wife grew up here. Even they were like wow.. this place is in badddd shape.
Walk around downtown for 10 minutes. There are very few major cities like this anywhere that allow this type is disorder to continually take place.
I don’t think we need a 3 strike system, but maybe a 50 strike system? 100 strikes?
When the guy with 200 charges stabs you and changes your life forever, yet he’s released in a year and a half.. feels kinda.. unjust?.. but it’s Canada baby!

Capitalism only exists because of the promises. "Everyone can succeed if you try" isn't real, because you're right, not everyone has it. At least if the people who didn't had enough to live for they might not become a danger.
