https://jalopnik.com/a-u-s-woman-sho...-sh-1850581896 God damn, woman shoots uber driver in the head because she thought she was being kidnaped to mexico. Not the race youre thinking of. Spoiler! A woman who killed her Uber driver in El Paso, Texas, claims she believes that she was being kidnapped and smuggled into Mexico. The woman opened fire on her male Uber driver, shooting him multiple times in the head, after allegedly seeing a road sign for the Mexican city of Juárez and incorrectly assuming the Uber driver was taking her across the border, according to the Guardian. |

I certainly don't feel any sympathy for him, but I also felt that he shouldn't have been stabbed. Hmm... |
Woke up at 2:15am this morning because of gunfire at nearby Clinton Park: An 18-year-old is dead after he was shot by police in East Vancouver, according to B.C.’s police watchdog. According to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD), officers were called to the area of Clinton Park, near Grand and Penticton streets, around 2:15 a.m. Saturday morning. I feel like it had been a while since a big one in the US, as far as stretches go in the US for this sort of thing. |
18 people dead and 13 injured. Well, that's America for you. Mass shootings can happen anywhere in the U.S. Even in small states like Maine with a population of 1.3 million. More guns in America than people. FailFish Col. William G. Ross of the Maine State Police on Thursday provided a timeline of events that unfolded around Wednesday's mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine. Here's how he detailed it: October 25, approximately 6:56 p.m. ET: The Auburn communications center received a 911 call of a male shooting in "Just-In-Time" or the "Sparetime Recreation Center" in the town of Lewiston. At about 7:08 p.m. ET: The communications center received multiple 911 calls about an active shooter inside a Schemengees Bar and Grille in Lewiston. "A large law enforcement response from the multiple surrounding agencies assisted the Lewiston Police Department in trying to identify who this individual was and what was happening. As you can imagine, this was a very fast-paced, fast-moving, very fluid scene, very dangerous scene that these guys and girls were going into," Ross said. Sgt. 1st Class Robert Card, a person of interest in two mass shootings on Wednesday night in Lewiston, Maine, is a petroleum supply specialist in the Army Reserve, according to records provided by the Army on Thursday. Card enlisted in December 2002 and has had no combat deployments, according to his record. He is the recipient of standard military awards, including the Army Achievement Medal, two Army Reserve Component Achievement medals, the Humanitarian Service Medal, a National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. A manhunt continues for Card, who authorities say should be "considered armed and dangerous," Thursday morning. Card is a certified firearms instructor and a member of the US Army Reserves, law enforcement officials in Maine told CNN. He had recently threatened to carry out a shooting at a National Guard facility in Saco, Maine, and reported mental health issues, including hearing voices, the officials said. This Card guy went RAMBO in Lewiston, Maine. A Rambo with serious mental health issues. Yikes. |

^What a surprise!!! LOL. I'm sure he was an avid JRE listener too :lol Heard that he was committed to a mental hospital as recently as July 2023 as well? No process in place to confirm if he owned any weapons, nothing as a result. I'm hoping this might be one of those stories that sticks out about how utterly ridiculous the lack of any oversight there is within the US. This story ticks all the boxes where he should've been flagged. -Threatened the base he was stationed at -Committed to the hospital for mental health -Family reported him as being schizophrenic All the tell-tale signs. |

Sad ... 14 died, 30 injured in Prague, Czech Republic Gunman opens fire in a Prague university, killing 14 people in Czech Republic’s worst mass shooting |
is it me or we have school shootings been down in the US lately? It could be the media isn't posting about it these days but I'm not sure. |
probably xmas. all dem kids are looking forward to getting their mass shooting weapons for xmas and then it'll start up again once the joys of AR15 ownership dissipates in jan / feb |
It seems like most of the school shootings lately have been unrelated to students going to school and shooting up their classmates and just crazy fucks that are doing it as a terrorist act. I haven't looked at stats to back it up though. My recent memory is full of adults killing kids instead of kids killing kids. |
I read that in European countries, they intentionally do not name the shooter as a practice to prevent idiots who want to go down in history in this sick way. But here in NA, they name them all the time. |
Lol wut, that's like saying the no more fat people in the usa or there's less homeless in Vancouver https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/unl...-23/index.html |
What the fuck are you honestly always talking about. |
Good job America. |
