the scary thing is if some arrests dont start happening, im afraid its going to get ALOT worse. the criminals are going to start thinking they can get away with it and its going to turn into open season.

im sure its alot harder to make the first hit, or even the first 5 hits. but once you start getting into 15, 20, 30 killings with no apparent police intervention, i imagine its alot easier to make the call to take out enemies, or even multiple ones at a time.

I don't think there is as much bribing here as in Asia, but I wouldn't doubt that there is still quite a bit that goes on, by that I mean much more than the average person thinks there is.

You have to also understand that the police are underfunded when dealing with these homicide investigations and gang-related issues in general.

Ideally they should stop every car on the road with MSRP over 80,000 and exotics SUVs long sedans or whatever. Then we'll get somewhere.

I hate to say this because it goes against what a lot of people died to protect but they need to be able to stomp on their civil rights once labeled a gang member. The police should be able to pull them over without cause and search their person and their vehicle at anytime.

You then turn the heat up and don't let them so much as get a starbucks or rent a movie without getting pulled over and searched. I know I'm going to get flack for saying it but whatever. I think the protection of the general public both physically and mentally supersedes the rights of criminals even if that means taking away some civil liberties that we're all suppose to have. I know it's a slippery slope who's gang members, who's associates who gets lumped in when they are just friends ect.....

This will never happen for obvious reasons but it would seriously hurt business operations of all known gang members.

The only people who would object to this are the people who do not stand to benefit from it. And of course, we know what category these kind of people fall under.

And of course, we'll get the usual big brother, nazi state cliches but in reality our government is far and always will be far from the Gestapo people claim it out to be.

Yea its pretty sad, I just spoke to her a few days ago. At least her daughter wasn't in the car too, I just feel bad for her son and daughter, despite some of her life decisions, she was an amazing mother.
