I live very close to where this happened. Heard the chopper flying around and lots of police sirens. Shits crazy man.

Highly doubt it's just roadrage.

InvisibleSoul 04-28-2011 02:10 PM

WTF... I sure hope there's more to the story... because that's crazy if the Lexus driver just wanted to go get the insurance details of the Explorer...

Harvey Specter 04-28-2011 02:23 PM

Same, I doubt it was roadrage.

It was a case of road rage. The guy that died was a friends, best friends cousins husband. The guy was recently marrried and had been in canada for only a month. Its a completely senseless and immoral act that someone has commited.

They were both headed north, that part of 128th is 2 lines northbound and southbound with a divider in between.

wow... horrible

i thought it may have turned out to be road rage since the police didn't issue the usual comments of "known to police" etc

simply despicable... wow

Teh Doucher 04-28-2011 07:30 PM

I travel that road 3-4 times a day... I'm absolutely disgusted that something like this could happen.

Fuck, I drive there all the time.

Holy shit, sounds like something that happens in Brazil from time to time. And what pisses me off the most is that the bullshit justice here in Canada will only give this guy like 10 years in jail, if he is caught. I hope he's not a citizen, so we can throw his ass on a plane or something.

We *need* tougher laws in Canada for illegal possession of firearms. Bet that he didn't have a permit.

vafanculo 04-28-2011 08:27 PM

This really is BS.

I don't mind when gangsters get popped, but this coulda happened to any one of us.

Yah... I bet the criminals would just be quivering if that happened. Meanwhile, us regular, law-abiding citizens have to do epic battle with red tape to get a frickin' .22 from Crappy Tire.

- kT 04-28-2011 09:24 PM

^^ exactly, which is why i was hoping it wasn't just a random incident of road rage and some drunk dipshit or something

i mean what was the guy in the lexus supposed to do, just sit in the car?

I am not anti-gun. I am, however, in favor of HARSH penalties for people caught without a permit/with an unregistered weapon. Are you against that? Do you think it should be the current system where people get probation for firearms offenses? Because, seriously, someone caught with an illegal gun will give two shits about probation.

Agreed.
The problem is, if you start putting the criminals in jail, you'll soon run out of room. So you need new jails to be built, which aren't cheap. Next thing you know, your political opponents are calling you "wasteful". Where the hell are the Liberals going to put the criminals?

Oh yeah, the Liberals let them walk because criminals are victims in the Liberal view.

:fuckyea:

u mean he was in canada for a month after he got married? because he was living in canada for a lot longer time as he had a "few" drinking and driving charges against him

Harvey Specter 05-02-2011 01:45 PM

So I heard the victim in the Surrey shooting was running away from someone and it had to do with drugs/money.

Roach 05-02-2011 02:04 PM

What is his name? Haven't seen anything released yet.

Damn. Small world. Found out the victim was a good friend of mine in elementary school I moved at the end of grade 7 so we never stayed in touch. He went to Matheson after.

sounds liek the guy got a lil tipsy, went for a drive, hit the guy then stepped out and was a dick about it. so he got shot by the other dumbass. could this have been avoided had he stayed calm?
