MEtRO VANCOUVER - Delta Police are investigating what they believe to be a targeted shooting of two individuals last night around 8 p.m in the 9200-block of 114 Avenue in North Delta.

Two individuals in a Mercedes Benz SUV avoided several gun shots from an unknown number of suspects in a red sports car. Of the two shot at, one is known to police and has gang affiliations Delta police said.

"At this point, we're not going to reveal who they are," said Delta police spokesman Const. Ciaran Feenan.

Feenan would not say if the two were cooperating fully with police, but that the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.

Police are looking for a small red sports car with tinted windows and a rear spoiler.

Anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to contact Delta police at 604-946-4411 or, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

lol that description is pretty generic, and pretty much every red prelude is going to get pulled over :troll:

G-spec 11-30-2011 04:31 PM

ah thanks Stylin, lol @ Gresiuk couldn’t say how many shots were fired at the front the building
how incompetent are they ? maybe they know but won't release info, but I'm pretty sure their forensic team is a bunch of morons who cant retrieve shell casings and bullets out of walls..
It was 6 fckin shots fired into the lobby, I know this and I wasn't even there for fcks sake, I know what car was parked outside it was a black SUV that was outfront with some guys inside just creepin, even know the race of the assailants, and I know this cuz it's what other tenants saw and told others, and I doubt the cops got this info

And when she says Some people leaving the building Monday morning even professed ignorance about the shooting.
it just means that pretty much any normal person sees the police as pathetic and unable to solve a majority of these shootings in and around town. So what benefit would a tenant have giving the police all this information knowing if it gets back to them that they snitched, they'll get shot and once again there will be another unsolved shooting police can't figure out, lol, fckin eh, there is a reason they dont put these shootings in the news anymore

I witnessed this myself few years ago at this Korean bar in Burnaby, dude got whipped inside, then dragged outside and shot right in the belly 4 or 5 times in front of at least 50 fuckin people, I was standing 10 feet away watching it happen, cops showed up 20 minutes after... 20 MINUTES AFTER A FUCKING SHOOTING TOOK PLACE!!! I think even Mexico City has a faster response time than VPD/RCMP and when they did get there so disorganized runnin around like chickens with they heads cut off, obviously started questioning everyone...
obviously without results because I saw the shooter in an elevator going up with me a month later, that shit didn't even surprise me

oh the guy lived btw, saw a news paper the next day that said dude was in stable condition, it was a small caliber handgun, if it was anything bigger like a 9, guy would've died on the scene cuz he was shot literally from the guy standing over him pointing gun at his belly

Death2Theft 11-30-2011 06:47 PM

Newb, thats why u aim for the wenis, that way even if they dont die they wont wana live.

Mr.C 11-30-2011 08:55 PM

Where I come from, you get shot six times, you're very dead.

And the VPD/RCMP are way better than third world police. Ask me how I know.

shawnly1000 12-13-2011 06:50 PM

"VPD is on scene at Davie & Granville with a male that has been shot several times."

TORONTO (NEWS1130) - An investigation into two Toronto street gangs involved in a bloody feud has led police to the Lower Mainland.

A 24-year-old man from Surrey was one of 60 people arrested in Ontario, Alberta and BC.

Toronto police say the rival Young Buck Killas and G-Siders gangs are linked to shootings, drugs and prostitution.

More than 70 homes were raided in three provinces in the investigation.

SURREY (NEWS1130) - Surrey RCMP won't say why heavily armed officers are surrounding a home in Whalley.

News1130's Kim Seale flew over the scene near Gateway SkyTrain Station where police brought out a tank Monday evening.

"You know it's something serious in Surrey when they bring that little armoured personnel vehicle out. That thing was driven right down University Boulevard and parked right in the front of this house, very close to where it attaches with SkyTrain and King George Boulevard up by Gateway," she said.

She says Mounties with flashlights have been looking for something or someone behind the home.

when they say 14th homicide is that only VPD's count or including the ones from RCMP?

i would think 14 in a year is pretty good compared to previous years, no?

shawnly1000 12-15-2011 10:43 AM

I believe it's for the City of Vancouver only
