is March 31 the drop date? for the Big 3 ?
i say they all merge into 1 .. and become a nationalized auto co.

Carl Johnson 02-17-2009 07:53 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if GM, Chrysler, and Ford all file for bankruptcy by the end of this year. Auto sales won't be seeing a increase for years, even then why would anyone want to own a car that's made by the big three.

What_the? 02-17-2009 08:53 PM

I know... why would anyone buy a new car knowing that the company could very well go bankrupt in a year, leaving you without warranty and parts?

Carl Johnson 02-17-2009 10:39 PM

Just wondering, what Chrysler car is selling well? Is the Challenger doing well?

asian_XL 02-18-2009 03:06 AM

I wonder how many car manufacturers americans can create in China with $21 billion?

even though they are not selling as much as before i think it's still only their trucks that are still selling compared to all the other models they sell.

hk20000 02-18-2009 07:52 AM

yawn with their shitty build quality the only thing that makes sense for them to do now is outsource all manufacturing to China. Buick is doing so well over there.

If the top dogs want their job bad enough this is probably their next move.

q0192837465 02-18-2009 09:01 AM

I dunno about the new American cars but the 1988 chevy cavalier I used to drive was not bad.

hotjoint 02-18-2009 10:31 AM

fuckin done son

Ruus 02-18-2009 11:31 AM

The only way they can survive is a complete restructure and overhaul.

They need to create cheaper greener cars, electric or hybrid and there union rules are killing them.

If one of the 3 came out with a purely electric car i'd probably be one of the first to buy it and live to regret it in the future, but at least it doesnt use gas.
