He's actually playing quite well. His only real flaws are things that all young point gaurds who go on to be great players go through: FG% and turnover rate. Apart from that, he's excellent. You can't blame him for being out of the ROY talks. Blake Griffin is just that good. To put it into perspective for you, let's compare LeBron's rookie numbers to Blake's rookie numbers.

BG: 23 ppg, LBJ: 21 ppg
BG: 12.7 rpg, LBJ: 5.5 rpg
BG: 3.6 apg, LBJ: 5.9 apg
BG: 52% FG, LBJ: 42% FG
BG: 61% FT, LBJ: 75% FT

In my opinion, I think it's debatable that Blake Griffin is the best rookie ever. His let-downs so far this season have been his lack of steals/blocks and obviously his poor FT%, all of which I think are bound to improve over the next few years.

I was so pissed last night when spurs beat LA. Odom and Gosal left shooters so wide open and didn't rotate on alot of the open 3's. I don't know how Odom let Mcdyss just box him out like that on the last play.

After being questioned right after losing to Celts .... Phil Jackson "Is it the playoffs yet? We'll get there" It would be great to win every single game but Phil is right.. it's all about the playoffs.... haha

watching the hardwood classics on NBA tv, 2008 Phoenix vs Hornets, and damn I miss the offensive scoring machine Chris Paul, he's been my favorite player for years now this game just reminding me how great of a scorer he is when he wants to be.

42 points 8 assists this game, but at the same time I wanna see him go down in history with most assists in a career, would really cement his PG greatness.... doubt it can happen with the current team he's on though..

who saw the Jazz Thunder game last night, first quarter was nuts, Jazz went like 11 for 11 and Deron Williams was just streetballin the shit out of Westbrook owning him all night, fun game to watch

LOL, I remember Westbrook going for 33 and 10, while shooting 10/15 from the field...

I do however remember D-Will doing this on James Harden...

Fast foward to #3 at 2:05:

well, I gotta admit I fell asleep midway through the second quarter so I didn't see the rest of the game, hahaha, fck now I wish I stayed up for it..

all I remember about Westbrook that night was the whole first quarter he had that look on his face like, fck I'm getting pwned.... he must've tore it up in the second half then if he ended up with 33, shit !

Ya, Thunder started off playing very poorly in the first quarter, but after that they just didn't miss from beyond the arc. Eric Maynor started torching his old team in 2nd quarter i think. I remember there was this one sequence in which he dropped 2 3's and a pull up jumper at the top of the key pretty much within 3 or 4 minutes. He scored 10 points and he may very well have had all 10 points in the 2nd quarter.

Meanwhile, Durant and Westbrook were sitting on the bench while the 2nd-string brought the game back for them. Jazz won the first quarter 35-25, and Thunder won the 2nd quarter 35-20, and they cruised from there.

The Bulls/Dubs game last night was even better though. Go dubs!!

True he could have checked but you could have simply wrote "Warriors" too...since Dub's isn't really the nickname for them

I guess the Wizards are the Dub's tooo

I was explaining where the nickname came from, and I've never heard the Wizards get called the "Dubs" but I've heard the Warriors get called the "Dubs" all the time.

Anyway, this is a dumb conversation.
