If Knicks were healthy with Amare and Billups, there was a chance of making the series more interesting and competitive, from my point of view. So much weight on Melo carrying the team, oh well, next year .

I agree. If Amare and Chauncey were both fully healthy, the series would have been a really tight one (hell, the first two games were already nail-biters). Probably would have been a Knicks series victory too even. *sigh* Tough luck for New York...
