lol lakers.... come back for the 4 - 3 series win?? |
I'm still believing in LA. They showed some good signs tonight. Gasol needs to show up to make Dirk work harder on defense so he won't have so much energy on the offensive end. Double teaming Dirk = wide open three point shooters. Fucking Gasol is killing us, man... |
Buying NBA Finals tickets I'm planning to treat my dad to the NBA Finals this year. I've never been to an event/NBA game, so I have no idea what I can do to ensure I get tickets. I've already signed up an account at ticketmaster.com What else do I need to do/prepare? I don't want to make my dad really excited (I had to tell him ahead of time so he can arrange his work schedule) only to burst the bubble because I didn't prepare ahead of time and wasn't able to secure any tickets. Any tips would be great! Generally, what's the minimum level seating I should get to make the experience worthwhile? Or it doesn't matter? Again, I'm a total noob at this, so feel free to give me any pointers. |

Looks like I am saving some money for the trip. Tickets really depends on which city gets to the finals. For example, tickets in LA cost much more than tickets in Memphis. Also note that not all tickets are available on Ticketmaster. I know Portland doesn't use Ticketmaster to distribute their tickets. Either way, you can't really plan ahead until like 1 week in advance when you know how is play who. And which city you want to go to for their atmosphere. I have been to 3 Lakers games this season. Ticketmaster/Ticketexchange is your best bet. Expect to shell out $200 for lowers and $120 for uppers, that is for regular season games. For playoffs/finals, I guess inflate that by about 3 times? FYI, only lower bowl is worth it for basketball games, whereas I find upper bowl better for hockey. |
By the looks of it, it should be home-court advantage for the Eastern conference team in the Finals in terms of standings. I'm going to G3 and G4 (due to schedule), so it will most LIKELY be Dallas (unless the Lakers actually mount a 4 straight win come-back, or Thunders take down Mavericks, neither of which I see happening :( ). I guess as of now, the best I can do is get a ticketmaster/ticketexchange account and start looking after the conference finals are done? It looks like there are some websites that allow season-holders and other people to sell their tickets, and Finals tickets are already on done. Stubhub, razorgator, ticketliquador. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they legit/save? |
I can see Thunder beating Dallas...In fact, to be completely honest, I'm still worried that LA could beat Dallas...Kobe is still completely confident that they will win this series. |

Looking at history, I have doubts that they'll be able to pull it off. Of course, we all know what happened to the Canucks in the first round with the Hawks...... |
grizzlies!!!! |
