Your argument is invalid right here. You must think this is the NHL. 1 season doesn't mean shit in the NBA. Let's make it short, it's not easy to make 2 premier ball hogs work together. And please do not cite the All-Star or Olympic games. Do you notice it's not until later that Bron started to be the one who make the last shot? Do you remember they went through that losing streak just a few months ago prompting Spo to slipped "guys are crying in the locker room". Or when Bosh came out of the closet and called for more touches.
That's the difference between people who actually follow the NBA and the fair weather fans who only tune in watch the playoffs. Of course it's only natural for the average fans to assume 3 superstar equal automatic championships. People even predicted them to go 72-10 before the season started.
The point is if Miami fail this year, I wouldn't call it a failure. If they fail the next one too while being totally healthy, then there's an issue. |
To me, they have an alright chemistry together.
They started with an 8-9 record, followed by winning streaks and rough patches like the events you mentioned. But they ended up with the 2nd best record in the east, lost to philly and boston once in the playoffs, and won 4 straight to close out the bulls.
I dont see any problem here with chemistry in the playoffs, where it counts.
Chemistry you mentioned in the regular season was part of the regular season. Theres no way any team goes through the season without some sort of conflict. Of course chemistry and health will be concerns, but good/great teams should have this figured out by the playoffs-and this is where I see miami.
Now, I do take back if miami lost this year, it would be a total failure because I really dont want to see them win :fullofwin:. But like you mention they are facing a dallas team with good depth.
Now if you were to ask me if I see them winning in the next few years? Of course i do. |
