OKC Nugs game was nuts, first time in history team mates go for 50, 40 and a triple double. I was more impressed with Ibaka a triple double by getting 11 blocks.
Rose is out of contention missed two many games, race is between Durant and Lebron, Kobe was up there at the start of the season but he tailed off.
i'm on the lebron hate train lol i'd have dwade over lebron any day
kobe was ruled out since the start of the season. his demeanor and style is so different now (maybe because of brown), but i get the vibe that he only plays for pride now.
Mannn.. I just read that Greg Oden just had his 3rd microfracture surgery on his knee.. Will this guy ever play lol.. poor guy and team... then again, good for OKC
The Blazers could've had MJ.. and Durant.... Imagine that lol
Fkn phone lol. I meant they cudve had either Mj OR durant. Instead they went bowie n oden. Before the draft. Didn't the scouts say that oden has BAD knees already but yet still picked him. Lol. That's like the grizxlies picking Francis when he said he doesn't want to play here. Bad scouting/management decisions Posted via RS Mobile
Just read that oden gets paid 1.5 million still this year lol. Posted via RS Mobile
You think 1.5 million is a lot? They were ready to pay him $8.8 (I think) before he had another setback....
Edit:
Quote:
Greg Oden will sign his qualifying contract offer with Portland and remain with the Trail Blazers.
Oden will sign a one-year deal worth a whopping $8.9 million to remain with the team

The Blazers determined that Greg Oden has suffered a setback with his knee and they are negotiating a new one-year deal with him for less money.

Greg Oden's 2011-12 salary is $1.5 million.
That's a far cry from his original $8.9 million qualifying offer, and the two sides renegotiated the figure after Oden had a setback prior to the start of the season.
Like I said a long time ago, Blazers need to get over this guy...
lol Wilson Chandler was in Toronto visiting with the Raptors on Wednesday........getting our hopes up...he's probably just hoping Toronto offers him a ridiculous contract because he knows Denver would probably match it.

...
Yes, I think 1.5 million is a lot for a guy just rehabbing or whatever. He can just retire now if he wants and be set for life. I know he was going to make 8.8m... but that's the gamble Portland wanted to take... i mean..oden is way better than Kwame brown and that dude makes 8 million or something? Kwame might as well be injuured as i think he rarely sees the court anyway.
I think the lesson here is NBA players make a shitload of money whether they injured or just a bench warmer.. yet they complain for not getting paid more or not getting a fair share...

I wasn't attacking you or anything...I was just saying the 1.5 mill is nothing compared to the ridiculous 8.8 mill they were originally offering him, and they are stupid for just not letting him go...Kwame was actually doing decent for the Warriors before he got injured...He was averaging just over 6 and 6 with a steal in just 20 minutes.
