So carmello is gonna get to be carmello again and we might get to see play time from mike bibby lol
Out for. 6 weeks. He's gonna miss the playoffs right?
He could return for 2nd round of playoffs, but I highly doubt New York would make it that far...
the leaner dunk over Pau was clearly an offensive foul, he really gets away with elbowing guys right in the fckin head pretty much all the time, I've seen maybe 1 offensive foul call on him when he goes up like that all season, and I've watched almost every single Clipper game...
just look at this gif below of the putback over Pay, I like the guy but I mean for fucks sake, I've been batted in the head before and I never once made this fckin face nor fall over like this.... I understand getting bumped out of position Blake is a big dude, but to fall over like you'd been shot, that's really somethin it takes years of flopping to be able to pull this off straight up
but he had so much hope in getting that rebound in like the first second of the clip if you look at his face he like " I got this, I got this.... owwwwwwww "

"It was an exciting play," said Clippers guard Chris Paul, who finished with 22 points and 16 assists. "But at the end of the day, we lost, so who cares?"
I was expecting a hard foul by Barnes/Peace the next time Griffin tries a dunk to send a message the same way Perkins the second time they meet put Griffin to the floor. Hopefully Griffin develops his game further with post moves and a jumper once the playoffs start no team is going to give him highlight dunks they'll make sure he ends up on the floor first.
i was surprised at the elbow on the 2nd dunk too i was like wtf you can do that?
If Gasol wasn't in the restricted area both dunks should've been offensive fouls, 1st dunk over the back and the second dunk the left off arm used to clear Gasol out of the way. Gasol was unlucky by being inside the restricted area for both dunks.
Give me boring Duncan/Love over all athleticism Griffin any day 2 points is still 2 points.
Love is the best PF in the game right now its not even a debate its too bad he plays in Minny where he gets unrecognized and gets no hype by the average fan similar to how KG for a decade didn't get any hype playing in Minny.
Griffin 53% FT enough said and check his FG% outside of 3 feet somewhere around 30%. He needs Paul to spoon feed him dunks or alley-oops.
^ sorry brother I strongly disagree with you about Griffin, we all know he can't shoot FT's or hit midrange (yet), BUT he has a very solid back to the basket and post game, and also an amazingly soft touch around the basket for a guy with his brute strength. He's far from needing a PG to spoon feed him dunks, it's just that he excels at that and it makes it seem like the only way he scores, it isnt.. He creates for himself down there more than he gets spoonfed..
I know it's easy to see all his dunks and oops and just casually label him that type of player, but he's more.
Just watch him play one game and you will see a wide array of post moves, some of his work to get to the hoop includes complicated dribbles only guards are doing, and yo the soft layups around the hoop some of them remind me of Shareef Abdur Rahim, and that that mofo had the softest fckin touch I ever seen around the hoop, (Derrick Coleman was pretty damn good too)
he has___
- post game
- soft touch
- great ball handling ability for a big man
- strength & athleticism
he doesn't have___
- shooting ability
- defense (I have not seen him swat a shot all season long, with such athleticism it's a shame he is lazy on the defensive end)
I mean that's literally his only weakness, he can't shoot, and even that weakness alone is gonna be fixed within the next few years, and it's because he actually is a good shooter, in the gym putting up shots for now, his trainers have spoken on this, but once he translates that to games..... I mean if you look at his stats and Karl Malones stats for their 2nd year, they are almost identical, too lazy to pull it up but I know him and Karl Malone were both shooting almost the same shooting percentages their first 2 or so years in the league, both FT's and FG's were around 50%.
Reason I bring up Malone is because they're identical players, I know we all know Malone as master of the midrange pick and pop with Stockton, but when he first came into the league he was all power with horrible shooting just like Blake is now.... but he turned it around later in his career just like Blake is destined to do...
Malone highlight package btw, check out his early work
and Reef lights as well repping Van City, gotdang it I remember every one of his layups around the hoop he had such a delicate but weird touch, that his wrist looked like it broke every time as he was releasing the ball, had some kind of weird snap to it that no other player I've seen has.... you gotta love big men with a soft touch around the rim
^ lol, finished my work projects for the week yesterday, chillin at home alone packing my gf's clothes she goin to Vegas, got shit all to do but hang with you guys till I head out play ball later, lol
any good games on tonight that I should DVR ?

So many wrong things said in this post....
Yes, I'm pretty sure everyone would take Love and Duncan (in his prime) over Griffin right now...That's obvious; I don't think anybody is claiming that Griffin is better than Love...
And what you mean Love gets no hype playing in Minny? He's in the top 5 when it comes to the race 4 MVP...He is getting plenty of hype and his efforts are definitely noticed...KG didn't get hype playing in Minny?? Uh?? He even won an MVP award one year...which is VERY tough to do when your team isn't right at the top...Seems to me like he got plenty of hype...
For the rest, refer to G-Spec's post above...

Celtics/Bulls could be a good game tonight, especially if Rose returns; he's a GTD.

Heat & OKC game last night was crazy..
Would be an amazing finals series between the two. But both teams will have to go through tough teams during the playoffs. Spurs, NYK, LAL, LAC, Bulls, Magic, hell even Pacers are gonna make the playoffs exciting. Should be a great post season this year.
Also I still think LBJ > KD for this years MVP, with Kobe coming in a very close third...
