It was ten years ago to this very day that Allen Iverson gave one of his famous rants about "practice." "We're talkin' 'bout practice, man". "Not a game." "Not a game". "How the hell can I make my team mates better by practicing ?!?!"
Even though A.I. isn't playing in the NBA, he still can rant. One of the funniest rants that I've ever heard.
He definitely practiced that ankle breaking crossover.
AI will always be one of my favorites. I don't know about u guys but I'd like to see him finish his career in NBA. If I were say the bobcats, raptors I'd gamble with this guy in a heartbeat. I'm sure his pricetag isn't that high.
fckin good ole fashioned 3 point shootout right now, both Clips and Grizz just been hittin a handful of trey's in a 2 min span back n forth back n forth
fckin love Bledsoe's game, kid's built like an NFL running back but has the speed, agility and vertical of a wide receiver... he's all over the damn place, and almost every single game has a monster block on a big man... he just swatted the shit outta Speights layup attempt which led to a Blake fast break oop

-getting a laugh out of Dr. Shaq and Barkley have a disagreement during the Sprint Halftime report about Griffin's rebounding. Barkley said that a big man like Blake has to attack the boards. He has 16 points, 1 rebound at the half.
Shaq says it's about winning the game. He has 16 points. Shaq says "it's only halftime, baby." Kenny Smith agrees with Sir Charles about a power forward must get more rebounds.
I think Charles is right. If the Clippers are to win this game and this series, Blake cannot let Rudy Gay and Conley get rebounds.
What's with the Shaq and Charles disagreements? They even argue during the TNT show "Open Court."

These dudes don't like each other?
It makes for good TV....and Chuck is an idiot...he's funny, for sure, and he's sometimes right, but more often than not he's an idiot....as for that argument about Dwight Vs. Bynum, Shaq is absolutely right....Bynum is a MUCH better player than Dwight. Dwight's entire game relies on his athleticism...He can't shoot, he lacks post moves, he doesn't have all that much skill...Bynum on the other hand......
Anywho, in addition to the partial tear of Baron Davis' patella tendon, an MRI revealed a complete tear of the ACL and MCL in his right knee.
It's one of the most devastating injuries an athlete can have. Davis will have surgery this week and a recovery timetable has been set at 12 months. Considering he's already 33 with sapped athleticism, Davis' career is in major doubt; I think he's done.
yo I just read this report that cracked me the fuck up, the woman who ran on the nuggets court apparently was heard yelling "Where is Kenyon" as in Kenyon Martin, the same Kenyon Martin who hasn't been a member of the Nuggets since last year, :IDL
I've said it before and I'll say it again: "Lionel Hollins is stupid and needed to be fired." Apparently 4 games into the series and he has no game plan for Chris Paul.
Honestly, much credit to CP3 and the Clippers, but the fact of the matter is that the Grizzlies are fucking themselves over so bad....they are making dumbass turnovers that you would expect from a mediocre high school team....their offensive and defensive positioning has been so bad at times, all things that are simply not what you'd expect from an NBA playoff team...maybe the Bobcats, but not the Grizzlies; they've fucked themselves over this entire series.
it's not just the Grizz not playing up to playoff standards, the other major difference between last year playoff Grizzly team and this year's team (aside from the fact that Rudy Gay is playing) is that the two headed front court monster of Gasol and Randolph that everyone has been making so much fuss about is virtually non existent, and not just compared to what they were last year, but literally non existent when it comes to what you should expect come playoff time from guys of their caliber
I kept reading all the blogs and all the playoff previews about how everyone should fear the Grizzlies and nobody wanted to play them in the first round, I wasn't buyin it though, because but I knew two things.... one I knew since Gay is back he's gonna demand his shots as the alpha male, and the other is that Randolph was coming back from an injury and he was not gonna be the same as last year's guy, and without Randolph to play off of, Gasol was almost dead in the water.
And even in tonight's game you heard them talking about how even Lionel Hollins was curious why Gasol is being passive and tentative on offense..
But bottom line is they're about to be eliminated and rightfully so, the Clippers are the better team right now.
And sucks about Baron, you guys called it he's most likely done, but then again he is one of those big strong physical guards with good court awareness (like Chauncey and Andre Miller) that can just play that type of style into his late 30's so who knows

Congrats to Steve Nash for being named the GM for Canada's basketball team. He sure has his work cut out to make this team competitive on an international level.
Jamal Crawford will opt out of his contract this summer. By passing on playing in Portland for $5.2 million next season, Crawford will become an unrestricted free agent.
Lin will not play at all in the first round of the playoffs.
