Boston isn't exactly high seeded. And I meant winning the cup, not winning the current series. I'm confident they will handle Philly at home. If they don't then we can see the Lakers and the Celtics getting blown up at the same time. Fun!
Cinderella phrase was used loosely btw. Don't get too worked up

Good to see AI yesterday at the celts/sixers game. I hope he can make a comeback to the nba to finish off his career. He'll have to come off the bench, I really hope he takes the opportunity.
i read about shaq & GM for magic
+1 on boston = a cinderella story being
i think AI can still contribute but who knows if anyone will take a chance on him or if he'll be ok with accepting a non-#1 guy role. he might be stuck playing overseas.
speaking of which my friend told me marbury helped his china team win their championship and they love him over there.

Imagine if A.I. had a news conference to announce his return to the NBA. Some smart ass reporter will ask him if he will practice. A.I. replies: "Practice? Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. We're talkin 'bout practice. How the hell do I make my team mates better by practicing?"
Shaq said today that he has no interest in Orlando's vacant general manager position.
He makes sense as some kind of owner, ambassador, or consultant for the Magic, but he knows he's not prepared -- or willing to take on -- the massive role of GM.
"When I first heard about the vacancy for the Orlando Magic general manager position, I was clearly intrigued. However, this is not a job I have an interest in pursuing. I feel very fortunate to be with TNT and to have the best job in sports."
NBA 1st-team:
Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Dwight Howard.
Bosh still hasn't resumed basketball activities.
Even if the Heat are pushed to a Game 7, Bosh sounds extremely doubtful. Although his strain has gotten a lot better, he's only been able to do core exercises and ride a stationary bike so far. Both Bosh and the Heat are declining to give a target date for his return.
C'mon let's do this Indiana!... need Hibbert to step up and they got this! Haslem, Pittman (with his 6min mpg) and Bosh are all out! There's NOBODY IN THE PAINT! Let's do this! If he can't raise his level of play in this kind of situation, elimination game of the playoffs, the dudes a friggin' bust!
Indiana is outrebounding Miami 20-10 and getting points in the paint. It's only a two point lead for the Pacers thanks to D-Wade's 26 points in the first half.
If LeBron gets his game going, watch out. Miami can close out the series tonight. It's anybody's game now.
Not saying this cuz they lost but if I were Indiana. Id highly consider trading granger. They already hav a core of hibbert/George/hill/hansbrough/collison
Damn when Wade and LeBron are really on top of their game they are unstoppable, who can stop them driving to the net every possession?... or maybe just Hibbert and David West made them look like that ...
ah wow, aside from my own personal ball game being almost identical to Danny Grangers, smooth SF could pass for a SG lol, I really started digging Granger when I saw him go toe to toe against Melo few years back in pair of preseason Pacer Nugget games the NBA put together in Shangai... he wasn't backing down from the world best SF in Melo, they tore each other up those two games....
but what a chump this whole series this guy has been, he just exposed himself to everyone, and everyone is calling him out on it.... walkin around for some reason with a chip on his shoulder and seemingly he's the only guy on the team with it, wantin to fight people left n right gettin in every one's face, talkin about not backin down from nobody.... HE, the Pacers turned this into a physical series and now I see him bitching crying to the media about the two retaliatory fouls by Haslem and Pittman....
I saw on TMZ there was some kind of altercation with some PAcers outside a Miami nightclub, and the only guy running around like a gorilla beatin his chest was Danny fuckin Granger... this dude's a clown
