I only watched the last 8 minutes of the game. Did Howard downsize?

He doesn't look as "superman" in the Lakers uniform... but the team should be fine.

11 straight loss for the Lakers (including pre-season)

Its just the first game of the season, each superstar on the lakers has ego to put aside before the chemistry grows. There are too many options for steve nash to run the floor, hopefully by mid season we will see monster ally-ops nash to howard

I'm not worried, it's only the 1st game of the season and they still need time to gel but in the first, they were moving the ball nicely. It just progressively died down as the game played out

that's because he's got big shoes to fill ... the REAL superman's...

offense will be OK as long as mike brown steps aside and let nash run it

even better let kobe coach the team....where's those gifs

you know who should coach the Lakers.... when I was makin my coach list I totally forgot about Stan VG, I love that guy.

Captain Panic, lol

and yea Dwight Howard is off the HGH from the looks of it.... he had almost 6 months where he couldn't lift weights because of his back surgery, and he's still probably lifting pretty light.... but he's slowly been getting back into it. I expect over the next summer he's gonna get that muscle back..... I don't know what the medical staff will tell him though, maybe it's good for his back to be a little bit lighter..

comparison.... look at the diff in his traps and delts, they were bulging before, now they're deflated ... no homo

even there in the last pic where he's flexing you can clearly see the lack of size from before

Gspec- you'd hire stan van gundy for the lakers? i don't think d12 would be too happy about that haha..

Time to stop the princeton offense crap.. Nash/Kobe should coach

+1

they have to stop this triangle/princeton offense crap. you have a legit PG who can pass. Play it simple.

If they want to run the princeton, run it with the second unit (with gasol) at least they know how to spread out and cut to the basket

Nothing wrong with the Princeton offense, but alterations need to be made to make it a much more uptempo offense....

hell yea I'd love to see SVG as Lakers Coach, the Lakers could have a reality show and it would be hilarious....

I think Steve Nash said it best last night when he said they're thinking too much.... it's like when you get with a new team, you're not yourself, you're trying very hard not to make mistakes instead of just playing the game.
I vouch for this theory personally, I just joined a new league with all new players I don't know and my first few games were horrible, wasn't myself whatsoever because I was hesitant to play the way I usually play.

Clippers game starting in 10 mins, but it's wifey's turn to watch TV....... reality TV is on her schedule, I wanna punch myself in the head every time she watches a reality show, fckin chicks man

holy crap, Harden got an even better deal than originally expected.... 80 mill over 5 years... also his first game as a Rocket apparently 30 points and 12 assists... imma watch replay later, watchin Clips right now
DeRozan got a 40 mill 4 year deal, good for him but his development has been stalled for 2 years now

shit already in the first half the Clippers defense looks beastly.... totally different from last year.... fckin Del Negero just might be keepin this job after all

oh wow, new Uncle Drew featuring a cameo by the greatest sport champion of all time, 11 chips brahs, 11 !

Cone Dog O'brien primed for a triple double

What's new?....

Harden is very underrated IMO...He ranked in the 93rd percentile in the NBA last year, generating 1.158 points per possession. All those threes, free throws and layups he creates add up to a ridiculous true shooting percentage of 66% - the fourth best figure in the entire league....In isolation situations, he ranks in the league’s 95th percentile; in dribble hand-offs, 95th percentile; coming off screens, 97th percentile. And on, and on it goes....

How bout dem Lakerz??

I managed to get my gf to record her show while I watched the Clipps game live... what an exciting game to the end... like I said before Jamal Crawford is worth Mo Williams and Foye combined ! I'm saying that and I liked both of those dudes, lol

Tonight an extremely efficient 28 points I think from Crawford including a sick ankle breaker on Gay, on something like 10-14 shooting...
strangely he said he only plays pick up ball during his summers, never has he worked on adding anything or improving something to his game except this summer doing it for the first time ever, and wow it shows.... D'Andre is scoring in bunches now lookin hella solid, and Bledsoes breakout season is here ! exciteeeeed

I'm surprised the Clips didn't trade him yet while hes on sort of a roll right now. He could be a solid starter for a team needing PG

What you mean Bledsoe won't be getting enough playing time ? you sayin that because Chauncey is back, a guy who hasn't played in a year is somehow expected to gobble up all of the backup PG minutes ?
Clippers, they don't see Eric as a bench rider, they see him as their future point guard, they're not gonna shelf his development for a walking retiree in Billups. He dropped 13 points last night of 5-9 shooting, with 4 assists & 4 rebounds in 17 mins of play, and that's from a guy whose biggest strength is defense.
He is delivering for them on both ends of the court, and even if you ignore the fact the Clips organization loves this kid, for the first time ever, he is not only getting minutes, but actually getting minutes with the first unit alongside Chris Paul.

Ken they're not gonna trade him, he's delivering everything and more they're asking of him, and if you wanna look at it future proof guard situation, Chris is approaching his late 20's, and Crawford almost his mid 30's, Chauncey is walking retired.
Every organization wants to have 3 very good players in their early 20's they can develop, and Blake is there already, while Jordan and Bledsoe are the other 2.
Jordan already signed the extension, Blake is the franchise, Bledsoe's extension is next barring the fact the owner doesn't do anything crazy like he's known to do.

Did CP3 sign with the clips yet? he's only 27 so he's still gots a lot of miles on those legs left. If they could flip Bledsoe for a Small Forward to help them out (i still think they need help in this position) then I would. That's if CP3 signs long term tho

No doubt Bledsoe is good.. but would he want to be a backup the rest of his career until CP3 retires or leaves the clips? that's the question
