ok so, 2/2 wins the prize, but can we change the prize to a jersey of the winners choice. i havent played ball since i graded high school so, i dont really have use for lebron x's. and by judging according to votes, you mean the actual end of season winners and not votes by rsers right? anyone else wanna jump on this too
shit got as real as it can in an NBA thread lol...
ok so yea ok fine we can do jerseys..... and what? you don't ball anymore brah ? it's a beautiful game man, you should get back into it....
So how bout we do authentic team jerseys from the NBAstore.com, the jersey of the player we picked for our bet.... so if I win it's Bledsoe, if you win it's whoever you got.... Carl Landry, JR Smith or K Mart......
damn them new Knicks jerseys are lookin real nice I'm actually picking one up for myself real soon, I'd go with Smith for the jersey alone if I was you it's sick

We can do the losers pitch in to buy the winner the jersey.
And to make it worthwhile like I said the authentic jersey from NBAstore.com of the winners choice, doesn't necessarily have to be of the specific player they chose.
Well judge winner according to votes in regards to the 6th man competition that's done at the end of the season. So if none of our picks win, then we go by who got the most votes after the winner Posted via RS Mobile

What if 2 guys make the same pick; does the 3rd guy have to buy 2 jerseys then if he loses?
Kobe bein Kobe, shootin teh Lakers out the game....
the bet, I don't know let's hear from Jon what he wants to do...... think we should just pick our own separate guys, unless you two naggers are plottin against me

hahah got too lazy, but if i still played, lebron x's look dope
so is it just sixth man award now? unless we go hardcore and pick all the end of season awards and the person with the most picks wins? or most picks with highest votes? and im fine with what g-spec laid out about the rules and everything. this should become an rs end of season tradition lol
Keep it to sixth man guys, since that was the original argument... so i can start following those players you guys bet on. More entertainment for this thread!
no G-Spec lol, we're not plotting against you, I'm just asking because their is a chance that 2 guys might pick the same guy. You guys make your picks first, and if I have the same pick as one of you, I guess I'll just back out or something...
^ sick move and finish, even if Parker didnt trip on Lance's foot he still got beat hard...
but ya somethin fishy goin on there for a sec thought you two broskis were PM schemin bigtime, lol
ok you know what I really like Jon's idea of picks for awards, let's go ahead and do it for the 6th man, Most Improved POY, MVP, Defensive POY, and Rookie POY....
if you guys dig it, then let's lay out our picks first and see if we conflict anywhere on them...
I think out of those the only one where we probably will end up pickin same guys is for rookie of the year, its either Lillard or Davis, so we might have to drop that one... I would have picked Drummond myself, but Lawrence Frank's rotations are suspect as of late, he's fckin everything up
holy slow motion high definicion.... D Will is the only guy I know that always dominates Chris when they go head to head
Going with all the awards completely goes away from the whole original point of this....this was about putting your money where your mouth is about 6th man...that's all.
I feel EXTREMELY confident against your pick of Bledsoe; that's the only reason why I'm coming in on this...In fact, I'd be willing to bet you a shitload more jerseys that my pick gets more votes than your Bledsoe....again, no doubts about how good Bledsoe is, but the guy simply won't get nearly enough minutes to even be given serious consideration...
yea I hear ya, and my money is always in the vicinity of my mouth, lol, basketball n sports is literally the only thing I talk shit about as I think most guys do, other than that I'm a super nice guy....
but Jon has the right idea, it would be more interesting and fun to involve a bit more if we chose a few categories picked our guys then went by overall votes. And yea we should definitely do something like this every season with as many guys in here that wanna participate, make it fun.
As far as Bledsoe, the reason I'm confident he'll get the playing time is because I think you put too much faith in Chauncey, the way I see it he wont see serious playing time until before the playoffs, also Willie Green's minutes will be redistributed to Bledsoe if anything. The only time from what I've noticed this season so far and I've watched every single Clippers game including pre-season, the only time his minutes suffer is when they're playing a team with a good bigman and they need guys like Hollins and Turiaf more than Bledsoe. And this is rare, because the league is mostly about stopping the other team's guards, and this is what he does.
OK so I'm gonna lay out my picks right about now, lets see what you guys got
6th Man - Eric Bledsoe
Most Improved - D'Andre Jordan
Defensive - Serge Ibaka
I think LeBron ruins these two next ones as they're quite obvious, so I don't know maybe we could pick guys other than LBJ, like guys that we think will get second in voting
POY - Rajon Rondo
MVP - Rajon Rondo
yea that's right, I think Rondo will be close in votes in both of these

I haven't followed nba as much as I would like (new kid) but I think I'd go with these guys as favorites
6th man - Jamal Crawford or Kevin Martin (close 3rd wud be Marcus Thornton)
Most improved- jrue holiday or Paul George (closssse 3rd is Kemba walker)
Defensive- Howard or ibaka
Again, you guys have probably seen more games than me so my "picks" might be off? Lol
i think you do. all i know is that you are not a miami heat fan
haven't really had a team since phx was a contender with nash on it.
i just cheer for toronto b/c they're our lone canadian team
i usually just look at who's in the playoffs and have a team that i hope to see lose i guess being a vancouver grizzlies fan all those years will do that to you
