lolwut, was just watching a vid and saw amir johnson fighting with a ref for the ball after a free throw.. he later gets a T and gets so angry he threw his mouthpeice at him , 1 game suspension
already discussed and video was posted; lil late bro.
Maybe houston should make james harden sixth man of the year again coming off and leading the bench. While Lin runs the floor with the starting line up. They both play a different style game and it doesnt maximize potential for Lin, if both of them are on the floor at the same time. Maybe that's why OKC started selfolosha instead of Harden.
Hope Harden can recruit someone like josh smith to play with.
This is the first time that I've seen a ref try to block a NBA player, especially at the free throw line. -pretty good vertical for Mr. Courtney Kirkland. As the TV analyst said, looks like a guy from Foot Locker runs on the floor:

^ Maybe not have him coming off the bench but harden is top 6 (kobe, lebron, paul, rose, irving), 1 on 1 player in the nba. and doesn't need much supporting cast as of now.
You do know Lin and Harden both play a different type of game.
maybe lin should come off the bench and let harden recruit the players he want for starter... but not like houston will be competing for a championship anytime soon
I call myself a big lakers fan but I always shake my head when people think Nash is going to make a difference on defence.. I'm hoping he brings enough fluidity to the offence that they can manage to outscore their opponents but he also is not the same nash that made d'antoni look as good as he did in phoenix.

just watched the full kobe interview. I don't get how people can't respect him as an athlete and competitor.
S: "What choice did you make?"
Kobe: "I think 5 championships speaks to the choice i made"
I respect Kobe...What I disrespect is most of the delusional Kobe cocksuckers, who often force me to sound like I hate Kobe when in fact I'm just spitting the truth.

lol lin is third for west backcourt atm.... but many many more votes to come for sure
on another note if the lakers don't get destroyed tonight... i'll be surprised
is all star still fan voting? I wouldnt be surpised if Lin and Kobe end up starting anyways

Nash can help the defense indirectly. If he improves the offensive flow and efficiency of the lakers then they should be scoring at a higher rate and their turnovers should decrease, which means less transition opportunities for the other team. Lakers are horrible with their transition defense so if they're able to set up their half court defense instead of always having to play transition D then their overall defense SHOULD be better.

Definitely agree with that, most of them have no idea what they are talking about.

Yup, i figured but comment was made more in general than directed at anyone here.
The Grizzlies have hired former ESPN writer and analyst John Hollinger to be the Director on Player Personnel, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
The hiring of an ESPN writer may seem out-of-the-blue, but Hollinger is the revered developer of PER (Player Efficiency Rating) and other advanced statistical tools used by nearly all NBA analysts. It will be interesting to see how his role develops in the coming years.

Oh sorry, I should have been clearer. I can't wait till he gets back so he can properly run the offense. I'm hoping since their D sucks, they'll be able to outscore their opponents to win. Everyone knows that Nash is a defensive liability
