^ cuz I'm a ghetto East Van kid what you expect, :smug: you won't find me playing in a nice uptight university gym with dem nice proper white chaps.... I'm grimy like dat son but yea, no for real I remember you mentioned Joey before that you've played with him, so if you know Joey, Yash, Fresh and and all the rest of the guys that play either at Bonsor or Champlain heights and in the surrounding areas, then you've seen me around cuz that's my neighborhood there. Actually that gym in the video shitty as it may be, I gotta represent my hood and tell you, I just turned 30 now, but back in high school late 90's when we all used to play there, that was the spot dude, all the best ballers in the city used to come and play there, BC Lions players, even some Grizzlies players used to come down. We had Vancouver's most popular rap group at the time The Rascalz just chillin there every day ballin, everyone hung out there it was an awesome place to be as a kid I'm tellin ya, small beat up old gym and all, trust me dude... When the Grizzlies first introduced the Night Hoops program they started with us there, and we won the first and 3 consecutive chips, playing at the Grizzlies training facilities and getting to shoot around at GM place, free Grizz tickets, etc.... we had it good there |
^ you know yash, joey and them? Small world. I'm a bit younger on the scene, not from vancouver i played when diego was lightin up east van at king george. Then went onto the university scene but pick up hoops died since then. Can't find decent pick up any more, leagues are much worse as well. |

Honestly, who cares...If you're not first, you're last...I'd rather be tanking if I was a Boston fan, because they aren't even close anymore... If the Lakers could figure things out, they'd have a very good shot, they've got all the personelle required to win a championship...That said, if I was a Lakers fan, I wouldn't rather be tanking, because they don't even have any draft picks to look forward to...they've traded them all away.:facepalm: |
