Kobe's problem is he is so competitive he would always try to muscle his way to hero ball. Against great perimeter defenders (remember Tony Allen, Aaron Afflalo, Thabo Sefolosha, or Deshawn Stevenson?) he will force long-range-double-pump-fake-fade-way that would only worth 2 points. Sometimes he made them but most of the time he miss them because he's so well-defended and he's much older now.
Let's not forget the genius that were Phil Jackson, Pau was still a premiere star back then and their roster was deep with talents, which were the big reasons they've won that back-to-back.

Kobe is a certified chucker, no DH12, Nash and the Lakers won't even get pass the first round...

Only reason LA is in the playoffs race is because Utah has been basically tanking for the lottery since Feb.
At this point, not getting swept (if they make the playoffs at all) would be considered a success for LA.

Them not trading milsap or aljef shows they wanted to make a run at a playoff. IMO
Either way. I wudve trade one or both at the deadline. Favors and kanter gna be crazy Posted via RS Mobile |

There is no logic behind Utah tanking, so no, they are not tanking.

I honestly thought when Bynum started playing to his "potential" 2 years back, was the downfall for Pau. He really needs the area down low on all to himself. He can make those elbow shots well, but like what you guys mention he is being misused over there.
This is where I think losing Odom hurts the most. And I can see they are trying to fill that void with Clark/Hill.
Anyways, surprised Utah kept BOTH milsap and Jefferson, and not trade one of them for a guard.

Excellent streak comes to end...Hard to come out every night and give it enough to win every game like they have...Really surprised they got through this far given the poor starts they've been putting forth almost every game....
Does nobody know how to embed tweets on here? I'm trying to embed something pretty funny...
