Resign Kobe in 2014-15 for cheaper and rebuild. It would be a PR nightmare, Jim Buss has done stranger things so Kobe getting amnestied isn't out of the question.

no, torn achilles are freak injuries. So unforunately, pringles is not to blame.

If they amnesty Bryant they wont be able to sign him until July 1st 2014. Clause is 1 year wait or until the end of the current contract if hes in his final year (which he will be).

Kenneth Faried suffered a left ankle injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game and left in a wheelchair.
X-rays were negative and he is considered day-to-day. The team is likely going to give him an MRI to check for ligament damage on Monday.
