Miami played like complete shit down the stretch in the halfcourt offense....looked like the Dallas series 2 years ago in the Finals....don't want to see that again....
For anyone blaming Vogel for taking out Hibbert those last two plays where Lebron basically had an open lane to drive for a layup to put the Heat up, Reggie or Steve Kerr made a good point about Bosh. With Hibbert in the game Miami's pick and roll with Lebron and Bosh would've created either an open jumper for Bosh or a mismatch for Lebron to abuse. Vogel's defensive plan was sound, but George on both plays overplayed Lebron's right hand. Good game 1 no games until Friday =(
The crazy thing is Wade wasn't even on the floor. It's pretty good odds that lebron was gonna get the ball.. West should've covered lebron as well with P.G and denied the ball.
Indiana let this game get away.. hopefully they have gained some confidence from this and come strong in game 2.
George Hill played like shit too..he had troubles bringing up the ball all night

seriously though, 2 seconds on the clock, 1 dribble and a layup for the win..
imo the heat shouldnt have been in that situation in the first place. Cole should have held the ball when he dived for it the play before, and Wade fucked up by fouling the 3 point shot
steph curry snubbed again for all-nba teams... but blake griffin makes second team... blake griffin?

come on now brah
only 1 of those is really true, he can't play defense and yea he sucks at free throws, so I guess 2
but no for real, he's got a variety of post moves most guys his size only dream of and uses them to finish in a variety of ways, not just dunks... no he doesn't need to be spoon fed he can create on his own thanks to his size/strength/quickness/speed and ridiculous ball handling skills for a big man..... his ball IQ is above average on offense, he recognizes double teams well knows when to kick it back out and who to kick it too..... defense he just coasts most of the time, I really don't know what his goals on defense are, I think it's to get a monster block per game it seems, that's not good D though
His midrange jumper needs work, but it's not useless.... I made the point before with him and Malone, identical players with identical stats first few years of the game... So he's got a chance to develop into a Malone 2.0 later on in his career when his athleticism departs

Well, they didn't really have Griffin over him... Curry had to go against kobe/cp3 parker/westbrook wade/harden that's a tough group and as much as I like curry..his 1 on 1 D isn't great whatsoever.
