What about Ujiri for the raptors eh.. Traded Primo pasta and signed Tyler Hansbrough.. I like that move for them.. |
Lakers looks prime for tanking. Signed a couple vets to appease the fan but what Chris Kaman gonna do beside sitting on the injury list. Nick Young hoisting up jumpers. I like Jordan Farmars but doubt he'll do much. World Peace is such a fun guy. He likes LA I bet he'd join the Clippers in a heart beat for minimum if they pick him up. Damn shame. Should have amnesty Mike D'Antoni instead :troll: |

you know what though, as bummed out as I am about him leaving, I'm really looking forward to seeing him finally get some more minutes. I just hope that they can at least get some sort of defensive scheme going this season where it's a team effort, I have faith in Doc.... I know all too well about offensively talented teams who won't or can't play defense, that being their downfall, I'm playing on a team like that right now currently, lol |
darren collison as backup pg for the clips ain't too bad. there are worse options out there |
^ yea for sure, hope he gets his shit together..... I remember watching him step in for Chris back in NOLA when Chris got hurt, Collison ended up dropping 22 dimes that night.... he couldnt get it together in Dallas unfortunately, that whole organization has been a mess since they won the Chip also guys, there is a House of Hoops opening where Athletes World used to be right beside Superstore in Metrotown, opening on July 17th.... supposedly it's gonna be a legit HOH like they have in the States, worth checkin out |
Bledsoe wasn't gonna get the minutes behind Chris and they won't be able to keep him next season, getting ANYTHING back was better than letting him walk. JJ can heat up from beyond the arc and he has gotten stronger over the years. Dudley can still play too. |
So if the lakers stand pat now..who the fk would be their SF.. I guess it will be small ball this season Nash/Kobe/Young/Gasol/Kaman - Farmar/Blake/Meeks/Hill/Morris/Sacre/Ebanks I have a feeling it's gonna be a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg season for my beloved lakers lol If they grab odom and he's in shape then that would be better Nash/Kobe/Odom/Gasol/Kaman - Young as the 6th man |
Starting line-up for the majority of the season will probably be something along the lines of: Nash Meeks Young Kaman Gasol Mavs, Ellis, closing in on 3-year, $30-mill deal. |
If any of you are interested or care... the Canadian men's basketball team defeated the americans today at the FISU games knocking the americans out of medal contention. The fisu team is also called the Development team, made up of university athletes only. Canada just defeated Brasil in the quarter finals and move on to the semi-finals. |
Who plays for Canada? College kids? |

Development Men | Canada Basketball They just lost to Russia in semi-finals by 10 and will play for bronze. Basketball is on the rise in Canada but sadly athletes still have to go to america to develop into the elite level. |

Lakers got Wes Johnson vet minimum. Good value imo. Does the same thing MWP does. |

in all seriousness..it's a good deal for this year, no doubt. He somewhat had a decent ending last season. I only see him as a scorer type player when he's on while MWP could score, rebound, steal |
johnson washed up but cheap...... i don't even think lakers will be over .500 next season |

David Kahn is not very good... Wes was good the first year but then fell oft the chart not sure why.Its a smart signing imo. Posted via RS Mobile |
It's a low risk high reward type of signing.. that's about it. I know the lakers are getting older now so I wish they would "tank" the season (it's weird using lakers and tank on the same sentence) and maybe get lucky then nab either Wiggins or Parker. Kobe should just get healthy and he can still be effective in 2014/2015 season... Then perhaps have Kobe give Paul George a call ;) SLAM ONLINE | » Paul George Says it Would Be ?Tough to Say No? to Kobe and the Lakers |
