Rose already needs to sit out after 2 games for "precautionary measure" ... man everytime I see him drive the lane I cringe ... *knock on wood* but I hope he doesn't turn into a Brandon Roy ...

Brandon Roy had knee surgeries on both knees way back in college and he rushed his return during his last injury with the Blazers, whereas this is Rose's first ever major surgery. With (more) modern tech, much greater care, Rose should be fine. Players have aches and pains all the time but it's just magnified with Rose (and in a much smaller case, Oden)

The difference between Roy's and Rose's has nothing to do with previous injuries, technology, rushing back, or anything else you mentioned....
...in fact, Roy's injury wasn't even so much of an injury as it was a disease....
Just saw this trailer for 2k on PS4..and holy shit .. I've read mixed reviews about 2k14 for ps3 thats why I haven't bought it...so I figure I might as well save it for the next gen..
Here's a short Clip of NBA LIVE 14, the gameplay trailer is out Oct 18th, but if this clip is indicative of the actual game then it's gonna be shit again.

Wow that's terrible. EA can't make a bball game and 2K can't make a hockey game. I wish 2K could make a hockey game like they do NBA 2K, EA's NHL series has been the same since 08. With no competition, they keep putting out bare minimum updates each year and we're forced to buy it to get our hockey fix
Also.. I'm glad that the nba finals format is now 2-2-1-1-1 rather than 2-3-2. This should make things better.
Now, I hope they have changed the seedings format as well. Last time an 8th seed beat the 1st seed, they went on to play the 4th seed in 2nd round while the 2nd seed had to play the 3rd.. that's just stupid! it's rare but it could happen :P
well yea...thats the rewards of beating the #1 seed
#1/#8 bracket are matched up with #4/#5 because of the assumption that #1 seed will win and will always match up with a lower seed throughout the playoffs
it would be retarded if they rearranged the brackets after the 1st round just cause of an upset
but yea going back to 2-2-1-1-1 for finals is great...imo previous format put too much pressure for #1 overall seed when they lose a home game in the first 2 games...a much higher chance of not playing on home court again haha
