Rondo, Monta, Parsons, Dirk and Tyson that's a hell of a starting lineup. Wright was having a nice season backing up Tyson, they're really thin with back up bigs. Parsons can play some minutes at the 4 but if either Dirk or Tyson go down.
He did it whilst breaking the league record for most missed FG's ever. Not as impressive as MJ. IMO not even close. That's not even considering that MJ took 2 full seasons off in his prime where he could have easily racked up another 4000+ efficient points. Not the 30 shot mess that is the Lakers this season. Kobe is a great player, but can't hold a candle to Jordan.

But considering that Rondo can't sink a J outside of 15ft it shouldn't be too big of a conflict. Let him be the pure distributor like he was during the Celtic's big 3 era.
Ellis has reinvented himself as a player that can still produce off the ball. Mavs are legit contenders now with Rondo, but they do need a new backup big. Brandan Wright was doing work for them before the trade
Oooh... the trade wheels are starting to churn.
Houston lost out on Rondo so they salvaged for Corey Brewer?
I guess he will play behind Ariza, but they are similar defensive type swingmen.
Guys I just wanted to share, I recently found probably the best You Tube channel I've ever seen..... nightly highlights of many players, in full HD @ 60fps....
Whoever runs this channel is a beast, when I found it made me wanna to go to NBA.com and punch the website through my fucking computer monitor
DAWKINS that youtube username has been around I remember watching his mixes on Marbury and Stevie Francis. Here's another user who shows player highlights in 720p at 60FPS.
Deron Williams might be heading to the Kings, rumoured package is for Darren Collison, Derrick Williams and Jason Thompson.
IMO not worth it, Deron has been on a steep decline for the past few seasons now. He just did surgery on BOTH ankles. Collison has been getting better every year.

Vivek Ranadive has to be one of the dumbest owners in all of basketball. I commend his enthusiasm, but the guy's an idiot straight up

For the most part I agree. But I don't know how much influence he really has on the basketball side. He hired the gm and the coach was there before that so I think they justified firing the coach because it wasn't represntat of the gm'is view. I think it was a horrible decision to fire him right now by the way.
Detroit was a bad fit for him. I think he will do well in Houston, he's similar to Terence Jones, but more developed. Don't know whats going to happen to Jones though, he's too good a talent to sit on the bench
The Piston's are such a mess, wtf were they thinking to ink Smith to that huge contract. Dumars signs him then steps down lol ... especially when they already had so much potential with Drummond and Monroe, didn't they let Maxiell walk too? Which forced Josh to play at the 3 which isn't his style at all. Chucking bricks all day.
Well now he's in the clear, gonna get paid big by Detroit and play for a contender in Houston. It will be exciting to see what he can do back in his natural PF spot with his high school bum buddy Dwight in the paint. I just hope he doesn't continue launching ill-advised 3s
