Thread is dying, some GM action going on!

- JR Smith, Shumpert and Ivan Drago (Mozgov) to Cleveland
- Dion Waiters to OKC
- Bunch of scrubs to Knicks

My thoughts:
The night the Cavs acquire JR Smith, they lost to Sixers too lol. Kyrie and Love are both playing on 1 leg while LeBron is resting with sore knees. Giving up two 1st round picks for Mozgov might have been overpayment but I guess they are going all-in this year for Mr. no-patience LeBron. I like the addition of Shumpert but I think Smith actually makes the team worse.

OKC gets a poor man's Kevin Martin in Waiters, here's to hoping he can develop into a reliable shooter with better chemistry instead of bricking all of KD's shots.

NYK ... boy oh boy Melo must be crying (albeit all the way to the bank) ... I barely know anyone on that team now, full of scrubs. There are talks of shutting down Melo for the rest of the season so he can get surgery on his knee. Their best player is ... Calderon? Looks like they will finish the season worse than the Sixers.

It's too bad, imagine if Melo signed to Chicago or Lakers, would have been at least semi-entertaining.

Pistons waive Josh Smith and go on a 7-game winning streak beating Spurs and Mavs lol.
Who saw the Hawks suddenly leading the East?

Cavs...*shaking my head*

If they lose this year and LeBron opts out, they'll have scorched earth in terms of draft picks.

Blatt sucks as a coach.

fishCak3s 01-08-2015 12:39 PM

Hawks are 22-2 for their last 22 games, I'm amazed how on Krover keeps on getting/being left open

I don't think Lebron will leave the cavs again (unless they do something really stupid to him).. He will only opt out to cash in with a bigger contract.

I don't get the hate on the coach either, cavs were built with a shitty bench and a starting 5 that can't play any D. I personally think they'll do better once Mozgov and Shumpert are in

Irving/Shumpert/Lebron/Love/Mozgov should be their starting 5 when all healthy.

JR Smith said triangle offense requires too much thinking, surprised no one called him simple minded or too dumb to get it haha

Obsideon 01-13-2015 07:41 PM

"When in doubt, shoot the ball" - JR 'chucker' Smith

roflwaffle604 01-13-2015 07:48 PM

Who would think that Mo Williams would be first to drop a 50+ point game this season LOL

Special K 01-22-2015 03:33 PM

Wow Kyle Lowry got the start. James Harden didn't.

Hahahah

they are in different conferences, how is it relevant?

jonwon 01-22-2015 06:29 PM

Lowry is easily as important to the Raptors as Harden is to the Rockets, if not more. Well deserved over Wade.

Obsideon 01-22-2015 07:10 PM

I would think that he wouldn't have got the start if he didn't play for "The North". With all of Canada's bandwagon fans on board, but regardless I bet he would have got the nod from the coaches.

Kobe is automatic starter, that's why Harden is out.

I'm saying it separately. Lowry beat out Wade. Kobe got Harden's spot.

Did Justin Bieber really asked his fans to vote?

Obsideon 01-22-2015 08:43 PM

Bieber's 12 year old girls won't know who Lowry is.
Drake and Stephen Harper haha

EDawg 01-22-2015 08:44 PM

Kobe is injured so Harden would probably take the starting spot anyway

Sir_Loin 01-22-2015 08:58 PM

Aside from Kobe and Melo 8 out of 10 right is pretty good for the fan vote. Hawks got no starters should've been either Horford or Milsap instead of Melo.

roflwaffle604 01-22-2015 09:11 PM

gotta say i'm impressed with the fan votes this year. the fact that guys like marc and pau gasol got voted in to start is awesome

Special K 01-22-2015 09:31 PM

Like tha analyst say the West will be so hard to pick.

Dirk, Clay, D Jordan, Paul, Westbrook, KD, Lillard, Duncan, Cousin, Harden, Conley

Sir_Loin 01-22-2015 09:58 PM

With Kobe and LMA injured opens up 2 more spots in the West.

Harden is going to take the starting spot, too many guards out in the West. Klay, Conley, CP3 and Dame probably only 2 outta 4 will make it.

He did, but he fucked it up by not including #nbaballot in the tweet, so the 50,000ish retweets didn't count lol. What's even more fucked up is that the "global ambassador" Drake didnt do the same with his fans.

Sir_Loin 01-23-2015 08:57 PM

Klay sets the record for most points in a quarter 37. Also the most FGS made in a quarter at 13. And most 3PT FGS made in a quarter at 9.

Updated with a better version 720p at 60FPS. DAWKINS Mix

Special K 01-23-2015 08:57 PM

Ohry fuck.... Cray cray

EDawg 01-23-2015 09:32 PM

dachinesedude 01-23-2015 11:40 PM
