Honestly, its already an accomplishment for the raptors to make it out of the first goal and not get sweep in the second round. With the way they are choking on key moments, im still not convinced it this rap core has the "it" factor that the truth mentioned about.

I want the raps to win, but I think miami in 6 or 7

pastarocket 05-06-2016 09:22 AM

What is encouraging for the Raptors is the improving play of Valenciunas. JV elevated his game in the fourth quarter and OT to score some big buckets to help seal the victory. Haslem cannot guard JV given the size advantage that he has on the Miami vet.

It is a good thing that Dragic is a lousy defender. That is why that ISO play that Casey ran for Lowry for the 3 pointer worked. :lawl:

I pick the Raptors in 7.

jonwon 05-06-2016 10:17 AM

On a positive note, Raps showing they are still capable of winning with their 2 all stars playing like absolute DOG SHIT (historically the 2 worst postseason shooters). If/when they start clicking again, it's over for Miami. I'm praying at least Lowry gets out of his slump

Obsideon 05-06-2016 06:53 PM

Lowry is on a 9 game slump since game 1 vs Indy, even last game they won but he shot under 30%. Waiting for him to "breakout" is stressful lol. 1 breakout game out of 10 from your best player is a recipe for disaster.

Obsideon 05-06-2016 08:13 PM

Random thought.

Imagine an NBA team getting the same picks as the Oilers, they would have a roster of:
Connor McDavid, 2015 1st overall - Karl-Anthony Towns
Leon Draisaitl, 2014 3rd overall - Joel Embiid
Darnell Nurse, 2013 7th overall - Ben McLemore
Nail Yakupov and Mitch Moroz, 2012 1st and 32nd overall - Anthony Davis and possibly Draymond Green as he was 35th pick.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Oscar Klefbom, 2011 1st & 19th - Kyrie Irving & Tobias Harris (Deep draft even All-stars Jimmy Butler and Isaiah Thomas were still on the board)
Taylor Hall, 2010 1st overall - John Wall
Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson, 2009 10th overall - Brandon Jennings
Jordan Eberle, - 2008 22nd - Courtney Lee

How is it possible to be a 2nd worst team in the league with a roster of:
PG: Wall, Irving
SG: Lee, Jennings
SF: Harris, McLemore
PF: Towns
C: Davis, Embiid (assuming he's not the next Greg Oden)

That's literally a title contending team lol.

How bad is Derozan

bruh he broke out today

fucking JV is beasting

pastarocket 05-07-2016 04:25 PM

Lowry had a huge game today. It was a duel between him and D-Wade.

JV was beasting until he sprained his ankle. :troll: I hope that the big guy can return to play in this series.

no respeck

pastarocket 05-07-2016 08:53 PM

I lost respect for D-Wade after he disrespected our country's anthem.

I hope the Raptors learned their lesson from the Indiana series. No let up in game 4. Keep the foot on the gas and do their very best to win game 4.

Lowry and DeRozan have yet to play their best in the same playoff game. :suspicious:

C'mon Raptors, pack some heat to blow out the Heat! :gun:

swiftshift 05-07-2016 10:03 PM

Cav's for 4-0 repeat.

Bender Unit 05-08-2016 11:36 AM

J Valenciunas is Out of the playoff :troll:
Heat won in Game 6

rip in peace raps

pastarocket 05-08-2016 01:48 PM

Miami also lost a player with their shot blocker Whiteside out with a lower body injury. Both teams are hurting without a key player. :considered:

If DeRozan and Lowry can both get their shit together and play well at the same time for the rest of the series, then the Raptors still have a chance to beat the Heat.

Series*

If Whiteside sits out, their backups for Whiteside is Haslem and McRoberts lol. We are in a far better position with us losing JV than them losing Whiteside

Tough overtime loss for the Raps. Why the heck did coach Casey put Patterson late in the game instead of Byombo? Patterson isn't a strong rebounder. Bismack was taking care of "Bisness" pretty well in the game. The team went too small with the players on the floor.

Take care of business back at home! :gun:

Casey doing Casey things man

brb gonna sub beastyombo out even though we cant board shit
brb gonna let CoJo run an iso on the final possession
brb gonna sub back DeBrick and he immediately almost turns it over twice and kicks the ball in Dragbitches face

Had enough of Casey and DeBrick.

Because they wanted to go small and spread the floor for shots. Except the raptors started choking and nothing was going in and all they ended up playing iso and threw bricks when it counted.
Should have kept Bismack in defense purposes.

Even the basketball god was helping the raps (d wades layup stopped in motion), yet they just cant buy a bucket when it really countd

That fan who spilled his drink on the court was helping out the Raps out too. :lawl:

Yeah, I just don't understand why Casey manages the game the way he does in the late stages of fourth quarters. He reminds me of the Canucks playing hot potato with the puck in the late stages of a third period with Desjardins leaving Bartkowski in the game. :lawl:

Game 5 is gonna be huge on Wednesday. Back to the 6th! Jurassic Park is gonna be wild again!

Biz would have continued feasting in the paint; Heat had Winslow as their C. Casey's just an idiot.

acrophobia 05-09-2016 07:20 PM

Raps aren't going to win when DeRozan and Lowry go 6-28 from the field. All stars need to play like all stars in the playoffs too.

DeRozan mentions wanting to be a max contract guy and then doesn't see the floor for most of the 4th and stinks it up when he comes back in; no thanks, Demar, not even close.

Euro7r 05-09-2016 09:43 PM

Wow, what a performance by return of curry in overtime. He's damn back! Blazers are done.
