I've been hooked on Players' Tribune for hours lol. Lots of interesting reads on the personal thoughts of NBA players. How to Be a Big Shot
Robert Horry's was cool to read. Blake Griffin's was poorly written lol, looks like a meathead.
CJ Mcullom had some good break downs of how he studies other guards too.
Team USA sing along during their flight to Brazil. Carmelo is showing more defensive posture during the sing along that I've ever seen him in any game of his career.
This is a surprise. Westbrook signs a 3 year extension with OKC for 85.7 million US.
This deal makes no sense from a financial standpoint. Russell could make even more money under next year's league cap. The cap is projected to be 103 to 104 million.
Why would you sign a 3 year deal under the current cap, a lower league cap, instead asking his agent to negotiate a 1 year contract with the OKC GM?

Makes a lot of sense financially for Westbrook.
"By accepting the deal, he has increased his 2016-17 salary from $17.8m to $26.5m. He will get $28.5m in 2017-18, and $30.6m if he picks up his player’s option for 2018-19."
He can leave OKC by then if the team can't get more players.
Also 3rd year is player option by 2018 he qualifies as a 10 year player meaning he can max out a salary per year of 35% of the cap. Depending on the numbers could be anywhere from 35-40 million a year.
"Obviously you didn't get it," Iverson said. "Obviously you didn't get it when I explained it, man. I didn't think I'd ever get that question again. See, you might have not seen the documentary, so I'll give you that. I'm just gonna hope you didn't see it. You just heard me say I was the MVP. That's the best player in the whole world. You think I can be the MVP without practicing? That'd be a bad motherf*****."
I'm a GSW bandwagoner. I don't really care about any team in the NBA and have no loyalties so I just picked the one that's the most fun to watch to watch last season.

anyone has the presale code?
Last year our company club seats were $320 a pair (section 107 row 8 or something). They just sent the email for this year's and it is $470 for a pair in the same seats so they definitely increased the price.
Going to pass on the club seats this year and hope to get some balcony ones for sub $90
