Blake re-signs, no idea why. Clips are done.
I guess the only big fish left in the pond is Hayward.
Not too exciting, the only teams that could realistically compete was Boston in the east and San Antonio in the west, both teams did squat.
I was really hoping CP3 went to the Spurs, with Poppovich guiding the Point God, ooooh sigh.
Celtics are gonna regret not trading their 9 picks. It's gonna catch up if they can't load up any talent now. They could have had Butler and George but they got greedy so both teams settled for slightly less with other teams, which were peanuts!
The off-season so far has been all hype. "So an' so might sign here", or "(player) is gonna get traded for a new big 3!" but most have been very lateral moves that barely moved the needle or players that re-signed with the same team, leading to same results.
Rondo won't go Toronto. And as much as I am a fan of VC, he's literally a dinosaur now lol.
Y'all complaining about Harden who is a franchise player when fucking Jrue Holiday, Otto Porter and the role player dude that the Lakers just signed got more or less 20 mil a year. Remember a few years ago Bron Wade Boss got like 17-20m each. All are franchise players.
They just have too much money from media deal they don't care.

I don't see how the trade benefited Celtics. Last season if Thomas wasn't injured during post season, they would have potentially made it very deep into the playoffs, possibly NBA Finals. Celtics stood no chance against the Cavs due to his injuries.
