Knicks can still sign a 'big' name free agent who is available ... Jeremy Lin! Guy's got a ring. Seriously, wouldn't it be nice to see Lin retire a Knick?
Parents, if you think your kids have pro athlete potential .... don't waste your time waking up early to take your kids to early morning hockey practice. Make sure they go to a playground after school and shoot hoops until it's dark instead.

NBA salary >>> NHL salary.
lol not to mention that hockey is a way more physical and painful sport. As well as expensive start-up. You need skates, gear, padding, stick, etc.
Basketball you need... a ball, and a trash can tied to the wall haha
I'm following both NHL and NBA off-seasons and the contract disparity is crazy. Game-breaking top dog Artemi Panarin gets $11m on a "ridiculous contract" while a floating 8th man on the bench of the Raptors - Norman Powell makes 15 million
It's because of the cap that "big time players" aint getting more than the max/supermax. They're making up on side deals and kickbacks, so you can't really compare LeBron 34m a year with fn'ing Jamal Murray's 34m a year. They are not the same. Besides his own portfolio, LeBron makes way more from the Lakers' kickback that don't fall within the league's official salary.
It isn't ridiculous because of how big the TV deals are and how rev shares work. Not to mention how fast the NBA has been growing. Exhibit 1: Joe Lacob bought the Warriors 8 years ago and the franchise's value already 8x-10x from 450m to nearly 4bil now. NBA franchises are money printing machines. Look at the Knicks and how trash they have been for half a century. Dolan aint selling that ass.
It is SHOCKING
ALL the Analysis these 6 days I watched. ALL WRONG~
“Free-agent forward Kawhi Leonard has informed runners-up teams of his plans: He's signing with the LA Clippers, league sources tell ESPN.
The Clippers have also acquired All-Star forward Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder for a record-setting collection of draft choices, sources said.”
Kawhi a little more sinister than anyone thought ... 'demanding' PG in order to go to Clippers. Looks like Toronto might have still been in the mix (if they swung for the fences and got PG).
Bye KL ... in today's NBA world, 2 superstars isn't going to get it done. Depth, injuries, supporting players is the X factor. Raps was super lucky that they didn't have any significant injuries and they had depth.
Winners - basketball fans in LA, Staples Center. 82 times a year they are the NBA show in town.
