Reminds me of the Canucks, up 2-0 and let it slip LMAO LOL. Too much 1 vs 1 ball, Booker ain't no Kobe/MJ. Turnovers and insane defense on Booker.
Crowder missed so many wild open 3's and Ayton non existence defense, Giannis was a beast that kept attacking. As much as I wanted the Suns to win this, Bucks showed up tonight and got the job done.
I respect Giannis for showing humility and being committed to winning a championship with the team that drafted him. Loyalty to a team paid off for him.
Giannis said in the post game conference that he could have joined a super team, and do his part to win a championship. Then he said that winning a championship with one team is the hard way, and in the end the right way to win a championship.

Respect for the Finals MVP.

Lebron, Chris Bosch, Kyrie, KD, .... Harden ... he was talking to you and Harden, you still ringless.
What a terrible take on my part, Giannis and the Bucks did it, the man is a true freak.
You know what's insane though?
There's only what, 400-500 spots in the NBA?
To make it into the NBA, only a tiny fraction of players will ever make it, the Antetokounmpo family have 3 brothers playing in the NBA. An already crazy stat in itself.
Break it down further, what percentage of players get a championship ring in the NBA?
All 3 brothers have one now
When you think about those odds, that's fucking crazy.
From bottom to the top, Giannis worked his way ground up. Never gave up and believed in himself to achieve his dreams. Respect to that. No shortcuts, no super-team.
The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring star guard Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards in a multi-piece blockbuster deal, according to multiple reports.
Per The Athletic's Shams Charania, L.A. will receive Westbrook, a 2024 second-round pick, and a 2028 second-round pick in exchange for Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell and tonight's No. 22 pick.
I don't know how I feel about that, apparently they were in a deal for Buddy Hield too. That would have been a better fit.
Lakers need more shooters, and Russ is not it.
The dream would have been to add Lowry and Derozan as rumoured.
Lowry leaves the Raptors to sign with Miami. Lowry signs a three year contract for 90 million as per ESPN.
Props to the greatest Raptor for all time. He played for T.O. For nine seasons.
The 35-year-old leaves the Raptors after leading the most successful on-court stretch in franchise history, highlighted by winning the 2019 NBA championship. The six-time all-star guided the Raptors to the playoffs in seven consecutive seasons from 2013-20 after the team had reached the post-season only five times in its first 18 seasons.
As for K-Low’s good friend Jimmy Butler:
The Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler are expected to agree to a four-year, $184-million max contract, according to Shams Charania and Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

I agree. Good for Lowry. He is getting over paid as a Miami player for a 35 year old though.

Since he's won a championship already, doesn't seem like it's a priority for him to win anymore at this age. Take that fat paycheck being offered and run LOL. Normally players his age that has never won a championship would take a veteran minimum salary just to give themselves an opportunity to win a championship on a good team.
