That arena has never been full, it's always looked like that even before the big 2.5 showed up. I think its partly due to increased prices/scalpers. Or simply because Miami has too great a weather and people don't want to be inside. And yes it's very annoying to see empty seats for ANY good team.

I just played in that Asian tournament at the Oval the other week, nice courts and the rims are awesome very soft and forgiving, got a bunch of friendly rolls. Oh and yea the new owner of the Nets is paying for a brand new arena in Brooklyn that they will be using next year, so they'll be out of the shithole known as Newark

It was a home game for Miami, not New Jersey. The game was played in American Airlines Arena......

Well they definitely won't be the 'New Jersey Nets'........I really hope they change the 'Nets' part too though.

Yes, would have been sooner had they not run into financial probs around late 08, the stadium was delayed. But yes they will be moving there, they already putting up billboards and what not in "strategic" areas near Knicks stuff (their offices I believe) to stir up hype.
