htc tytn II (aka Kaiser) HELP! ok guys, so i just bought the kaiser today. the phone is awesome but i have one problem. i currently have a rogers data plan and i've been trying to get data onto the kaiser. i've searched google, howard forums, RS.... no luck. hopefully some of you kaiser owners can give me a helping hand and help me try to get data on this phone Cheers |
go to the connection's settings and just input roger's information? or it'll do it automatically. Atleast the one I used did. |
yeah i don't think my phone does that. |
ah, either way. Try going to start>settings>connections> and find data setup? something along those lines. Lol wish I could be of more help man, but I used my tytn2 for like 2 weeks tops. |
okay so I managed to get the internet on but its only using edge.. I want 3g!!! |
so 3g doesnt work on this phone? |
the phone has 3g support but for some reason its not using it. |
start > settings > phone > band network type : select auto, looks like yours is in GSM GSM/UMTS band: select auto or GSM (190+850)+UMTS(1900+850) I just left both of them to auto on my phone, and 3G works fine. |

The threads are still there, but continued development was asked to stop. See the thread for this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475041 Then see these posts from the ROM chef: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=305 http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=302 Another 6.5 ROM development that was asked to remove download links: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474869 (yellow box at the bottom of the first post) |
ah.. ic.. too bad.. maybe they'll lax it a bit when 6.5 finally come out in the open. Because as of right now it's still in the development stage. |
