Why post on an internet forum where the average person drives a Civic about the problems you're having with your 997 Turbo? In fact, why post at all before you've talked to the dealer and tried to work things out? Calling out MCL on a public forum (and calling them scam artists) is childish at best, and won't do anything to help your cause in trying to settle the dispute with MCL.

A mature, sensible person would sit down and have a conversation with MCL about what happened and try to resolve things.

An immature brat goes online and bitches to anyone who will listen.

I don't understand why a person can't save their hard earned money. Does a person who can afford luxury goods have to find the most expensive place to do their service?

What's wrong with saving?

But fair enough, the OP might have gone about dealing with the situation in the wrong way.

OP : bottom line, lesson learned and chalk it up to life experience.

Go with the other mechanics or even taken marco911's approach and go to a certified center in the USA

You blame Ray, but Ray doesn't have any personal incentive to rip you off. He's an employee of MCL and does not get a commission on service he brings in.

The guys that work at MCL are good guys. Management of MCL though is who decides that they can charge outrageous prices, stop servicing US cars, etc, etc. That is my main reason for not patronizing MCL for service.

I know for a fact that some parts and service advisors do get paid above and beyond for generating more business and/or reducing expenditures.

I don't know if MCL does it but I do know that many other dealerships do.

The reason i said that they receive commission is because I work at MCL, in the main shop.
Some days, they bring in so many cars, that we barely have room to park cars after we're done working on them.

Makes sense if a parts person can get a shop to switch to their services and say that shop buys $200,000 a year worth of parts, why wouldnt they get get alittle more?
