Help me pick a plan/phone
 

since I don't know crap all about phones and plans, I figured I'd ask you guys. I'm currently on an oldass Sanyo SCP-3100 on a Solo PAYG plan:

-$0.40/min daytime
-$0.05/min evenings and weekends, 7pm-9am
-caller ID
-call waiting
-unlimited text
-unlimited web browser (though the phone itself is slow as hell)

what I want:

-under $30/month before tax
-per second billing
-caller id
-unlimited or a large amount of text
-web browser would be a plus but I can go without

no need for voicemail

Thus far the Koodo Talk and Text combo (unlimited text and picture, 100 anytime mins, 7pm evening/weekends) with call display added on which would run me $30/month and use their "tab" to get a new phone so far looks best. On Solo I found the unbeatable 25 + caller ID which has the same cost and features but I'd pay an activation fee and I'm not sure about the phones. I haven't checked into anything beyond that.

I also remembered reading on here about some guy who had a wicked plan with all kinds of stuff on his iPhone for $30/month or something (however I was unable to find it for the exact details)

As far as phones I really want a flip, and as small as possible. I don't care about cameras (have a better one) or MP3 players (also got a better one) but if they do have them great. I like the look of the Motorola W385 or KRZR (leaning towards the KRZR)

I'm also wondering if Solo's retention dep't would care to try and keep me as I'm only on PAYG and if so would they be able to change up my plan to get me a better per min rate and/or a new phone.
