Nokia N97 vs HTC Touch Pro 2
 

Both these phones are coming out relatively soon. Which one would you recommend? or is there a better one that you would recommend?

if the touch pro 2 comes out with the same old qualcomm crap (i.e. not the snapdragon) i will not touch it.

n97 looks interesting and i like symbian os than of winmo so i would give that a t-r-y

I think he is referring to processors/processing power of the devices. Although aren't the HTC devices slowed down by Windows Mobile, not neccessarily the processing power?

but have you considered that new Samsung with the 720p video recording capability? that sounds awesome

i don't know about the snapdragon that he's talking about
but the other one is the processor. i believe the HTC TP2 is using the same one as the predecessor
i've had bad experiences with samsung. i had the d900, shittiest battery life on it. Wasn't just me, a bunch of people have experienced a similar problem (the battery would last about 3 hours WITHOUT usage)
also my girlfriend wanted to pick up a samsung f800 (i think that was the model) i tried to talk her out of it, and then the representative agreed with me, so i got her the nokia e71 (which she now loves).

which one is that?

when are those two phones coming out anyways? well all i know is that when it is for sale, its gona be crazy expensive. for the early adopters.

Umm, Yes when exactly is the N97 comming out? For purchase local and/or import? I've read a bunch of "expected" release dates but none were that acurate or specific. I do Apologize in advance if this is a stupid question or for any inconvenience. Thanks!

It's been announced for a June 2009 release, but I don't know if that is just a particular region or if it's it's going to be global
if it's region specific, it might be a while till Canada actually gets it

There is only one version of the N97? It's tri-band HSPA.

the n97 slide out mechanism looks really flimsy
