| Touchscreen QWERTY
What phone would you reccomend that has a horizontal touchscreen qwerty, My phone use is almost 100% txt so that + looks is all thats really important to me functionality wise. I've looked at a lot online but ide like to hear any personal experiences than some borat reviewer.

HTC Touch Pro? Super thick though.
Con: WinMo
Friend has it and seems to like it though.
A ton of phones have QWERTY keyboards.
I send like maybe 100 SMS daily w/o a QWERTY keyboard though. =P

T-Mobile G1? If WinMob sucks and the S60 5th QWERTYs won't be out for a while, I'd go for that. Something different. Go for the brown one. |

ya p1i was pretty easy its a suretype style keyboard though not full qwerty, way easier to text than the pearl.
my buddy had a samsung instinct that had a landscape keyboard for texting it was so nice compared to my iphones cramped keyboard so maybe try some of the samsungs like the f440 or omnia they might have landscape keyboards too.

sony ericson xperia?
i'm currently using the HTC tytn II and i'm pretty happy with what the phone is capable of. just remember, the more apps the phone has, its obviously gonna be slower.

The SEXPERIA's keyboard blows. Inconsistent feedback across the keys.

If you send a lot of text messages, I'm thinking a physical keyboard will be better for you than a touchscreen one. Check out the HTC Touch Pro/Fuze. It's a little thick, but the keyboard is good. Don't get the BB Storm. The clicking touchscreen is neat, but a pain if you are going to be typing a lot.

^ ditto. if you're looking for a physical keyboard, the g1 isn't bad, although the action on it could be better. Not the most aesthetically pleasing device but the OS makes up for that. Like Rhetorical said, physical would be a lot better if you're a compulsive texter.
