Any 5th gen Prelude owners?

Thinking about getting a 5th gen prelude ( auto ), any problems with these cars at all?
Only things I know is that the auto/triptronic has some issues and can fail if pushed hard, and the egr valve tends to clog.

Cheers

Learn how to drive 5 speed and it's no joke. Auto/trip is a major headache to have, dont think you would want a 2,000 price tag of a new transmission. Even a new transmission doesn't guarantee problem free. Otherwise it's a reliable car if it has been taken care of.

There's a few prelude's site so take a look, it's useful.

and local http://www.vancouverpreludeclub.com/forums/ it's down right now.

The problem I could think of about the 5th Gen Prelude is the age of the car..

It's a good car, nevertheless

used to drive one and hence the name super slow ss(sport shift).
that auto transmission is pretty slow and takes a lot of power from the car.
I would recommend manual, it is also easier to sell(higher price too). Most of the demand is younger driver looking for a sporty ride.
