some more knowledgable than me said you're better off waiting for an sti (he suggested a ver.5?). the plain jane wrx models of that vintage suffered cooling/overheating problems, among other things.

domestic versions wouldn't have that problem at all it's making pussy power and therefore generating pussy heat.

are you sure about that? i thought i had my fact straight... my friend had a 98 RS, and he had the phase 1 DOHC engine that overheated the engine due to the blown headgasket issue (his went at 80k kms, after being repeately told by the dealer he didn't have a problem). he told me that the 99-01 phase 2 engine with the SOHC heads did not have the same problems he had |
