Any Free SMS to the US?
 

Are there any Free SMS services available on the internet that actually WORKS?

I've tried a few, but all failed. I need to send a few text messages to the states.

did u google "free text [insert provider]" ? I have unlmnted txt to the US but my friends always tell me not to text since it costs them $1 to receive a msg :S GL on finding a site though

they get charged for receiving? r u serious?

my friend uses Sprint, I tried using the Sprint Online SMS service, but it doesn't work.

ya.. instead of getting charged for sending, the companies make money by charging for receiving :P better ask before u make ur friend mad haha

get a berry, use bbm and its a done deal.

Rogers has one, but I doubt it lets you send internationally. I'll post the link when I get off this damned bus and get into the office.

^I think Kardboard means this http://www.rogers.com/web/content/wi...setProvince=SK but it says you get charged 25cents each msg you send or something....
