This was my plan for my E71. It was the 30$ Windows Mobile Data value pack - 10$ credit. I just switched to a Bold and I asked for the 30$ BB one instead and they flat out refused to as they only have the 35$ ones now. I complained to retentions and she gave me another 5$ credit to offset the cost. So Instead of 10k text and 10k mms I have an unlimited amount of those now. Data is still the same at 500mb. So the pic is exactly what im getting currently price wise but the features are a little different. I went over in minutes and international text so theres a overage charge of 7$ on there, so technically its 47-48$. Next month I'll be getting 5$ off the 6PM early evenings as well so it'll be even cheaper. Roughly 43$ tax and SAF in. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/6886/billn.jpg |
i expect mine to be 70-80 something. i pay for currently: - the $45 voice plan - $15 essentials plan - 6.95 system access, $0.50 911 emergency about $75 after all the bells n whistles. a month will see everything after this promo period woooo!!! i just went on rogers to check (fuck their website is slow). evening and weekends changed to starting at 9pm?! gezzz i guess you call my plan a retention plan. i believe i get 300 minute anytime + unlimited evening/weekends starting at 6pm. then because i have it in a family plan with 3 other phones (my sis, my mom, my dad) free calls to each one of them, and my daytime minutes double to 600 minutes. ok, basing on that info - $45 plan - $35 data plan bundle - $6.95 sys access fee - $0.50 911 fee - taxes total should be aboutl $88 bucks. |
$69 275 daytime evenings/weekends @ 8pm caller id voicemail $5 500 txt msg 6gb data |

I've had this plan for a couple of months now and there have been zero problems so far. In terms of them auditing it because of my higher than normal credits I doubt it'd happen. My dads line has over 30$ in credits on his 20$ voice and he didnt even ask for the recurring credits. He just phoned into retentions one day and they set up a plan and I was surprised by how many he got. If they audit my account (knock on wood) I'm going to call back and complain like crazy cause im in a 3 year contract and thats what was negotiated at that time. If they expect me to pay anything higher for the remaining term thats ridiculous. |
Yeah I just read that from the howardforums retention thread. Tons of people were complaining that their credits got removed and the Rogers employees basically said they usually audit accounts to see if they have more credits than their base voice plan. I'm scared to ask for more credits since I already have a $10 credit and I'm only on the 17.50 plan for voice (+ the BB VP) lol. |
