cococly 03-10-2009 08:17 PM

The body looks nice boz it has Merc S/CLS class shape

Harvey Specter 03-10-2009 11:08 PM

It really is a good looking car minus the rear. I'm currently in the market for a new car and the CC is on top of my list of cars because it looks good, pretty good build quality, cheap lease payments and from what I’ve read it has great fuel economy.

billboa 03-11-2009 06:48 AM

Looks pretty good, love the wheels.

hal0g0dv2 07-03-2009 09:34 PM

looks pretty slick

maxx 07-03-2009 11:31 PM

The CC in general is a very tempting car at a starting price of 34k, which is the same price of a loaded GTI

Too bad its sluggish

124Y 07-04-2009 12:28 AM

Very nice! ^ I don't think these cars are meant to be driven like a track car, so it's sluggish for the softer comfortable feel.

tgill 07-04-2009 01:00 AM

the performance concept is from sema last november, not really new..
i believe it had apr stage 3

StylinRed 07-04-2009 02:00 AM

looks better/par than bmw's/mercs/lexus/infiniti/audi

quite surprising how sexy it is

Harvey Specter 07-04-2009 02:18 AM

The thing is, the CC looks so good in photos but in real life it doesn't stand out and doesn't look that good.

You need the oem kit to fill it out, then it looks good. I am telling my dad to look into one (3.6 4-motion), or the bmw 335.

agreed. however when you mash the acelerator of a base MB CLS - it wont dissapoint. Your wallet will be though.

Really!? I haven't driven a lot of cars, but I've driven a CLS550. It feels very sluggish and handles like a boat. When you accelerate, the whole car feels like it's lifting off! Maybe it's because I'm used to the Evo...

does anyone have fuel economy numbers for the 3.6L V6 model? this is the same drivetrain that is in the R32 (which we don't get), and the mileage numbers for that car are not that great compared to the 2.0T.

going back to the original post w/regards to the gold coast model...

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....coast---17.jpg

it says on the spec sheet that the rear brakes are "stock"... those don't look stock to me :o

haulin oats 07-06-2009 08:33 AM

the R32 gets a 3.2L V6 engine. the Passat CC has a 3.6.

asahai69 07-06-2009 09:07 AM

put a v8 with over 350hp and ill buy one

Here in Winnipeg, I've seen R32s..... I heard a few was around, i saw at least 2 blue ones....

And too bad the 2.0T doesn't have AWD and neither have DSG...
the car is alright, but I just don't like feeling ripped off since Euro models have a lot more toys... iirc, DSG, active cruise, auto park etc... I forgot, but there's quite a few things that we don't get...
