*** NEED HELP *** doing it my self - painting rims

hey there
i dont want to pay hundreds to paint my rims
but im down to buy metal sray cans

here is a pic of my rim .. x4

i would also be interested in a TRADE for BLACK RIMS with lip or with out
its 18 inch with good rubber at the front and the tread of the pirellies at the back aint that great
4x100 bolt pattern
its currently on a 1994 integra

Just so u know powdercoating is quite cheap; $40-$60 per rim.

Rainbow 604-521-0899 ask for Steve, tell him Max with the orange integra sent you.

Well worth it to get it done.

I spent weeks doing mine properly, removing old clear/paint, sanding with different grits, primer. Not to mention it takes quite a bit of paint. In the end it was actually pretty expensive, to do the job right. Looking back I woulda rather saved the 25+ hours and just got it done.

^powder coating is a form of painting only they use sum magnetic charge to make the paint stick and it gets baked afterwards.. much more durable than using auto paint. anyways buy this aircraft paint remover from lordco.. it'll save you hours and hours of sanding.. jus make sure you wash the wheels throughly afterwards.. you need about 2 cans for all 4 rims.. and it'll strip the paint down to bare metal in about 15 - 20 min.
