took advantage of the coupon tonight.

it was okay, SR's cars are pretty amazing as well as the staff, they wore suits! i have never seen shops workers dressed so professionally before. that was a surprise. well, the cars, meh.. the lambo and r8 is cool, but it's not OMG OMG OMG jizz good.

aj-r's GTR was very nice. the exhaust was huge!

one thing i found weird was that Lexus got shafted up at the top. wtf? at least they let ppl sit in the IS-F, that was pretty cool.

checked out the genesis, not bad
and the 370z is AWESOME wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than 350z

it was okay, only spent 2 hours in there

thats the thing. some shops show clearly whom are sales staff, and whom are the mechanics that make it happen. if you go to a car dealership, the sales men usually are fairly well dressed. would you buy a car off someone in greasy overalls? with that being said, the mechanics, the guys that do the tire mounting, are the REAL guys that make it happen for you. some shops are all in wonder shops, the head sales, is also a mech that helps in the back, and so forth. might even be a more relaxed atmosphere so casual attire is ok.

and yeah, i gotta agree, the new 370z looks pretty damn nice in person. the pictures just didnt do it justice...

the is-c just looks weird to me, like a copy of the solara convertible...

i think he means that those cars are SR customer cars. SR doesnt own them, and the customers loan them to SR to display. Any shop develops a long standing relationship with some customers, returning customers. A project car doesnt have to be owned by the shop.

Did you notice how some cars are putting the 3rd brake light into the bumper or sil or trunk, not located behind the rear windshield? it clued in on me when looking at all the new cars coming out.

Someone actually walked up and scratched it intentionally? Or someone accidentally brushed against it?

After sitting in the genesis only thing i really disliked was the buttons for the window. Its positioned awkwardly and would be a nuisance to use; really didn't like what they did with it. Other than that, the car is pretty cool. Would be interested to take it for a test drive to see how it handles.

I don't know, have to ask Ben that one. But still...feel so bad for him, put his beautiful GT-R on display for us to enjoy, and all he gets is a scratch.

I saw so many people I know there tonight.. it was surreal. And I was only there for about 1 hour.

I was glad to see the spykers there. One day, if I ever actually make money selling cars (lol), I'd like to start my own company like Spyker, except with better looking cars.

I can't wait for the Fiesta and Transit to hit our lot. I'm going to sell soooo many of those.

Just got back myself.

The Flex is really nice. I can't believe it's $52k though!

The Fiesta will do big things for Ford. Great looking car.

regardless of how much is done under the hood of the R8..

its an R8.. i drive a modded mazda3.. and am drooling all over that R8 everytime i see it..

same with everytime when i see a lambo..

i respect exotic cars regardless of how one got it..

if their parents bought it for them.. they got lucky to have those kinda of parents.. if they're drug dealers.. they got lucky and made enought money without going to jail.. who really cares.. its their life..

SR autogroup is a successful company that has customer with R8, lambos, porches.. not many shops actually have those kinda of cars visiting.. you may be right they're stock.. and no mechanical work was ever done.. just think how much mechanical work and technology has already been put into it.. i wouldnt touch the engine of an R8, lambo, porche, or whatever exotics if i ever drive one..

and to those people that are so proud of their cars with full engine work..

good for you. but its still not an R8,Lambo, or whatever exotics..

i swear i probably would get smoke by a fit.. or civic ef, or some 1990 GTR R32s.. but like i said who cares? im comfortable in my car that i like..

and to those dissing SR autogroup.. just drop the hate.. i'd be happy to have 50% of their success..

excuse my english.. lol

lolz, i dun get why ppl have such big reactions about SR group. Any business that makes money is a good business, that's the end of that. If u'r so upset about their practices, go to ur local newspaper & report them. Better yet, open ur own business to steal their clients.
