Vancouver International Auto Show 2009 is happening between March 31 - April 5 2009

The 2009 Vancouver International Auto Show is hosted at BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, B.C. (www.bcplacestadium.com).

Who plans to go this year?

We all know when the auto show is.... and we are all going.

i dunno, i feel the auto shows are too focused on small fuel efficient cars nowadays, which i have absolutely no interest in.

So you go to the auto show you fill out tons a ballots cause you want something free, they then sell your numbers to these BS telemarketer and you will get carge calls for the next 6 months so be carefull.

$15buxs on weekends. wasn't it cheaper the previous years?

I'd rather go to the car dealer and sit in their cars for free instead. Heck I can even test drive them. Ridiculous admission costs for the auto show.

^Then that defeats the purpose. You might as well not fill the ballots then, since you won't win anything if your fake info is drawn...

I've been there the last 4 years in a row... Think I will possibly pass this time. Doesn't seem to be worth it anymore. Can't believe the previous gen STI was ALWAYS locked every year.
What a load of BS. Not like that car is even an exotic... The 350Z and S2K was unlocked... even some of the BMW's and Benz were unlocked... I don't get it.

Yeah i'm going. Hopefully this year its not full of fucking hybrids.

I was just at the Calgary Auto Show. Lots of hybrids on display.

Vancouver will have at least one fuel cell car on display (not a super new one though).

Any car can be unlocked if you ask. Helps if you look like you would buy one.

i still get suckered into it every year... usually i have a pretty good time since i get to sit in every car =D

yes. because i'd love to pay $15, in this economy, to go and look at cars i can see on the road or dealership and read up online on, and to check out those few exotics that i won't be able to sit in anyways.

April 2nd

Apparently, Spyker will make a debut at the auto show.

saw this r8 today while setting up my booth! SOO NICE!!! its sharing a booth with a flat black Lambo and Merc (both drool worthy!)

I'm working the WirelessWave booth so come by and say "HI" we will have tons of pens, lanyards,, keychains and other swag to give away.... ALSO we're doing hourly draws for Sony Ericsson Wireless Aircards!

can't wait to check out all the sweet cars and bike there this week!!

I got free admission because of the Prius thing...so yea I guess I'll go.
